Brawler Archive

I recently discovered the joys of melee combat (as opposed to ranged). I want to take up the elite facet of one of the three weapon-derived disciplines, but I don't know how to decide. One-Handed is indeed badass looking, but two-handed focuses on the mind pool, right? That would come in handy for PVP.

PLEASE! Can someone answer me? I'd also like to know if it's worth it to go Master Brawler.

I'm not going to tell you which one is the "uberest" professions (if that's even a word) because quite frankly, anyone who wants to hop onto the bandwagon of ass-kicking professions shouldn't play at all.

With that being stated (yes STATED not SAID), I'd say go for Pikeman. I'm having loads of fun with it.

It is quite intriguing to me to miss a special move that has cost me 259 HAM (full Chitin) and wondering if I'll be incappacitated in the next combat round.

What ever you do don't go Pikeman until they fix the profession. I lvld Pike up to 0432 and dropped it once I couldnt finish missions unless teamed. I then got TKM, master brawler and am 1323 in Fencer. I can't speak for two handed but Pike was the absolute worst in my experience. TK is definately bada$$ but Im having alot of fun with fencer and the defensive modifiers really make the difference. In my experience alot of people are so focused on damage they forget about defense.
