Thread: Your WarCry Freezes your Target In His TRACKS -- BUT the sucker can still RUN!
THIS is the soluntion to kiting! --- If our warcry freezes someone in their tracks --- they shouldn't be able to run out of range!

Um... I'm not suggesting an either or situation. They should stop running AND shooting. And even if they aren't shooting- if they keep running so you can HIT them- you don't have an ice cube's chance in hell of winning.

Personally, I believe that warcry as is, combined with extended melee ranges is going to create a mess of problems. I think meleeon melee duels will be more or less reduced to who can land the first warcry, since it will be more difficult to run from extended ranges.
I agree with KaliMirchi that warcry should be a tool for brawlers to actually freeze ranged fighters (so that they either can't move or so that they can only walk), allowing us to buy time to get in range.
However, I think right now stopping then enemy from attacking completely is a problem. It can probably be argued that if we stopped the range fighter from moving but not from attacking s/he'd still kill us by the time we got to him, but there are a couple of solutions to this.
1. Make Warcry stop the enemy from moving and slow down their attack rate.
2. Make Warcry stop the enemy from moving and stop their attack, but give a defense vs. Warcry skill mod to brawlers, so that brawler fights are more than who can land the first warcry....
