I am trying to master Brawler and seem to have noticed how effective one and two handed sword was but Pike, omg. If you like to waste money on stims and bet against yourself how many times you can miss in a row, well you can do that with the polearm branch. How worthless! I almost gave up Brawler cause Polearm was so pathetic compared to the swords. Perhaps I should have done Polearm first and I might not have noticed.

Also, unarmed is slow but at least I hit.

Switch to a decent quality lance and you should do pretty well. Polearms went quickly for me, it was unarmed that was a real pain.

It must be your weapon. For me polearm was the second easiest one, two hand being the easiest. I had the hardest time one one hand, and unarmed was easy because I got it before VKs were certed.

Yep, it is the LVA that was killing me. The lance works fine. In fact now the unarmed seems to be the trouble but I just got my MASTER BRAWLER.

I think that Beserk 2 last for a long time, kinda nice.

My longest missing streak is 17. (with a Long Vibro Axe attacking a Wood Mite)

But hey, that's a -55 accuracy modifier.

Whats the lowest level weapon for pike? I cant see any certs.

Wooden Staves are certified at the Novice Brawler tier.

The Long Vibro Axe should not be certified until past novice pikeman. It's too difficult to use it before. Stick with the Reinforced Combat Staff until you can use a basic lance, then stay with that for the rest of the pre-novice polearm line.
