Thread: Now that the Uber Unarmed Brawlers have been put in place..
Could you revisit why my hands cost so much to use..and I can't seem to see any hits comming to avoid them/
I can understand that there was a threat that unarmed brawlers were going to take over the universe thus the need to nerf berzerk. Now that the galaxy has been made safe from the horde could you please take a look and see why I use so many pool points for all of my actions. Also while your at it could you seewhy after years of study bringing mind and body into alignment and foucs I can't seem to evade anything?
Thanks in advance...in retrospect no big change..I never got kills before, I won't now AND as a positive my survival skills will go up more.
Note: there might be an issue with unarmed brawler downtime when my Survival (scout tree ) skill is higher than any other skill I have )
I understand your concerns but i haven't played long enough to get totally frustrated with it yet.

actually, i frequently hit things when i am unarmed and running. clearly, my unarmed accuracy is too high and should probably be reduced. i'm obviously not relying enough on unarmed lunge to slow down my opponents.

a month ago, i would have agreed with you. however, it seems that the devs only respond to sensationalist titles and sarcastic spamming of dissatisfaction, as well-thought arguments for your cause tend to go ignored. it sucks, but after two months of observation in beta, that is exactly the pattern i have seen.
i love this game, and i love unarmed. i do not want to see it suck even more.

NinjaFish I agree completely, I too saw the same pattern on the Beta forums. Sad really.
But I'm looking forward to using only blind and stun for a while. Both un-nerfable...or are they?
haha Now if you bezerk early it just means you're dying that much sooner.

I used unarmed stun quite a bit at intermediate and advanced, now that I have unarmed blind it doesn't get used much.
I didn't see much improvement when the opponent was stunned over not and it tends to only do Action Pool damage.
Personally I like to Berzerk early and depending on which enemy HAM pool is lowest, focus on dealing that type of damage after the zerk wears out by using exclusively unarmed hit for Health Pool damage or unarmed stun for Action Pool damage.
