Thread: Note to unarmed brawlers & TKs
Last night, after reading all the boards, I ran around looking for Vibro Knucklers. After finding a weaponsmith of awesome talent who was working in cahoots with his friend the slicer, I ended up with a 10k pair of 18-89dmg 2.7spd knucklers. This might sound like a lot of money, but let me give you an idea of how much they helped the game...
I'm Trandoshan scout/brawler and wearing chitin body and bracers. Before the knucklers, taking down a white-con Womp Rat would set me at about 1/3 HAM and I'd have to rest. My old damage averaged about 80 per-hit, and 150 beserked. With the knucklers, I can tear clean through a Womp Rat nest, sometimes with 2 or 3 on me at a time, and come out with 1/2 HAM remaining. My average damage now is 130 per-hit, I swing a lot faster than I did unarmed, and beserked I'm hitting for 350 average! The knuckler, despite being sliced, only degraded slightly during the course of the night (8pts or so) and I even took down a yellow-con rogue Bantha in about 5 hits.
My advice to unarmed brawlers galaxy-wide... knucklers, get 'em, use 'em, love 'em.
What server you on??? Thats to much for that DMG SPD of knucklers.
My first pair cost me 7.5k and were 20-112 dmg and 2.5 spd. My new ones are 30-133 1.8spd and cost 20k.
This is on chilastra though.

Can you tell me who you purchased your new knuckles from? 20K is a steep price but those are the best stats I have seen for knuckes.
I got a set of knucklers for 3k on the bazaar (plus about 3k in airfair to get to them) and they were 23-98 with 2.7 speed.
I then had them sliced (500) and the speed is down to 2.1.
For 6,500, I love my knucklers.

Bought 3 VK's that were 20 something - 114 speed 2.5 before slicing.
Took them to a slicer and now I havea 28-133 spd 2.5, a 26 - 144 spd 2.1 and a 29-141 spd 2.5.
Found a loot generated VK that was 7-59 spd 3.5 ? that I got sliced to see if it could be useful, got a 9 - 79 back.
Thing thats good about them is that the loot generated VK's pools cost are 19/33/15 or something close to that.
They are very low HAM costs, all the crafted VK's I've seen have insane HAM costs.
Lowest I've seen crafted are 57/48/32 , I thought that crafted items were supposed to be better in every way than the loot generated items ?
Think HAM costs must be bugged in crafted VK's.
