I just became master unarmed, checked with the trainer but he didnt have the option to become Teras Kasi...Do I need to find a Teras Kasi trainer? Is there one in Coronet?

then you need to find a tera kasi trainer, i found one yesterday in mos espa east and learned meditate and unarmed hit 2, just look aound you'll find him, i don't know if there is one in coronet i've never been there.

Yeah, after you crunch the 70,000 xp for master unarmed... you gotta do another 175,000 for TK Novice! WIth rifle no problem: 1,000+ xp solo reds. With unarmed, impossible to do reds so count on a bunch of whites giving what... 300xp each I think?

Oops, I guess I meant 125,000. Not sure.

the best way to find a trainer is to use a /find command

for Teras Kasi trainer I beleave it's /find trainer:Teras Kasi

Hmm.. well maybe as a master unarmed you're correct. But as a novice TK, myself and one other TK took reds with ease. After knockdown (for him, I'm still working on it) EVEN after the patch, he has very little trouble with most mobs, and still loves knockdown and thought the change was good btw.

I mean, look, no one is going to deny that rifles have an edge on melee -- that's why melee is cool, because its more challegning. But I don't think the disparity is that bad. In my two man group I got between 700-1000 per on that night.

Yes, well I can only speak from my own experiences as an expert unarmed dude. Haven't hit TK yet which is the point of the original poster's post! :-) Once I get TK abilities like you have I'm sure things will change.

My point is that it's a long road considering at expert we can't SOLO reds but with expert at rifle (because of the laser rifle cert) it is quite easy. Maybe there should be a new set of 'laser'-knuckles to bring us on par with the ranged people.

Even at TK novice it sounds like you can't solo reds. I hope it will change by the time I get there.

Goto to location on my sig at keren naboo. Very nice mauler house there with fast respawn just camp it out im getting 800-1000xp a kill, just been playing a week and im on the TKA tree now. Try and get a group of at least 5 people but don't rush the place cause theres far too many.

If your on Eclipse server ive got a house set up there just across the river, you can get wounds and BF healed in there beats any camp, then just go across the river again back to the mauler house.

I made my teras kasi novice from master unarmed in no time, just camping at the tusken fort on tatooine. you can get 500 - 1000xp easy per tusken or bantha there, although I find that banthas are not worth the trouble, they do a lot of mind damage. tusken captains, chiefs, raiders and snipers are worth a good amount of XP and you always have huge groups there with camps, entertainers and decent healers, and most of the time the battles are pretty organized

I thought 125,000 xp would take forecer too... that was until I got my probot! Just go to Talus with it and pull giant darylkes with a pistol or rifle. Then have your probot soak up the damage and go beserk on it. When grouped with your bot they give you around1,436xp each.

Well I originally was planning on going the creature handler way. I am at expert pistol right now as well. I trained in unarmed and LOVE IT!!!!! With my skill in pistol and my probot I’m good to go. I have a a knucksomthingorother that has been sliced and it just rocks. I only am wearing a robe right now and need someone to tell me the best (for 10k) clothing to buy. Also is their weapon I can buy as well that is unarmed? I understand that you cannot use 2 of my new favorite weapon. Thanks all for your help.

You need another 125,000 unarmed exp. It seems like it takes an eturnity to get the exp, but it really doesn't take that long. I got TKN the day after I got Unarmed IV.

Once you get to TKA it all falls in very well. I leveled two levels in TKA the same day I got TKN. Power I and Precision Striking I. Precision Striking will seem like the longest because it uses combat exp and the others use unarmed exp. I would recommend working on Power first if you want to hit harder and faster.

I took a trip to Endor with some friends last night and got 100k there. Now I'm about 90-95k from Power II. Now that you can't use VKs unarmed exp is very slow until you get to TKN. It is well worth the work though.

Since I'm a Rodian I was afraid Teras Kasi would be incredibly underpowered for me, but it seems to be doing fairly well. TKA's can put out more damage and faster than a Marksman could ever think about doing.
