How I got through unarmed in a day

Pre - Reqs

--- Novice Pistoleer (the easiest dual bleed to get)

--- Novice Medic

--- A good hard hitting pistol (FGW5 is easiest to find)

--- Doctor buffage preferably above 1.5k to the secondary stats

--- Any droid to group with (leave it at the starport)

--- Supression fire and warning shot are nice to haves if you get in trouble

--- Some decent b stims

I got lucky at the start, when I made it to Lok there was a fantastic doctor doing buffs, this was the key to the ease of the operation.

Anyone can get perlek missions, these formed the backbone of the xp, they are non social, but do con red so some care is necessary. Get the mission and carefully head out, Lok used to be packed for snorbals but its clearing out now but a lot of idiots are getting missions they can't finish (mercs) which are extremely dangerous to the solo player.

Around each perlek nest will be a handful of creatures, from weakest to strongest perlek, perlek scavenger, perlek ravenger.I typically got in knelt and laid two bleeds, healthshot 1 and 2, on the target. As it slowly cruised over I would kite backwards being careful of the numerous aggros around. When it reached me I'd just duke it out, a perlek typically would be half dead before even reaching me. After getting the posture change I just hit it once with that and ran away again and let it die.

The kiting is necessary more if you aren't buffed well. With a huge buff to the secondaries the perleks in 1 on 1 combat where unable to actually damage me and there was 0 downtime, remember to jack you willpower and mind as high as they go though as mind is a constant limiter. Don't bother with armor either, it's a waste and drags down the mind stats.

A perlek is worth .73k, a scavenger 1.003k and Ravenger 1.54k. Each nest will end up giving you around 10 - 15k and pays 2.4k - 2.9k

Bleed damage doesn't count towards pistol, so if a creature bleeds 99.9% of its life away and you hit with your fists you get 100% XP to unarmed (or any weapon class you use). An additional bonus for those in need of 40k of combat xp (Commandos) use traps after the bleed to get all Combat xp from the kill (yes thats right you can earn 1.5k of combat xp in 2 minutes) but be sure to have enough traps to not ever use any other weapon type as it dies.

Don't use a pet, the pet will take away much xp from you. These tactics assume that you are not particulary intrested in ever actually using the brawler skills and just want to go from point a - point b as quickly as possible.

If you get in trouble having stims is nice, and flip back to pistol to use warning shot or supression shot to get away.
