I've got this sister who would be just perfect for you. She has a great personality....

btw, wookies don't mind voluminous back hair, right?

Look for the red bazaar terminals. They are 6 foot tall glowing red rectangles. Should be able to find whatever you need there, for under 3000. 99% of banks have bazaars near them, so type /find bank and follow the arrow.

i'm a master swordsman and i have never worn a piece of armour since i started this game three months ago. and just last week i mastered brawler, and got novice fencer, and i just got novice tka today, and am now working on novice pikeman.

i honestly dont know where this thing about HAVING to wear armour came from, as its a myth.

but if your a wookiee, i would suggest mastering brawler for warcry2, lunge 2 and intimidate 2, those three skills are an invaluable tool for being a melee class.

i dont wear armour, and a friend of mine which is a master tka, and aspiring master fencer because of a holocron, doesnt wear armour unless they are just healing people, and not using combat.

Uhm......

Wookiees can be Brawlers. Master Brawler, Master Swordsman here.

There are a few things that help.

1. Having a pet to help distract (tank) the creature or NPC in question. Hey we are Wookies after all. Having a faithfull pet at your side is a bonus you should use.

2. Personal Sheild Generators (When and if they work) are helpfull as well. When working properly (suposadly they turn off when you log or cross a server boundry) they give you a Light Armor rating. Which means that all none armor piercing damage (most if not all creatures) do melee is reduced by 50%. Plus as an added bonus they can have energy protection as well (mine has a 40% energy rating) which most NPC use.

3. Healing is needed. If possible get atleast novice medic and if you can some 1st aid and Diagnostics. The 1st Aid will allow you to heal more damage and the Diagnostics allow a quikcer turnaround in healing.

4. Use Doctor, Food or even Spice.

Doctor Buffs can be a great aid to the Wookiee on the go. They can boost you first 6 stats anywhere from 900-2000 points for an average period of like 1-2 hours(there are lower nad higher but this is a average range).

Food buffs are simple to use just eat or drink and they help to boost you stats like Doc buffs but don't require a Doc to administer them.

I hate to use them but some spices can be a life saver. In fact I have a toolbar button with 1 canister of Muon Gold in it. I call it my "Panic" button. If I'm in combat and my mind drops to fast. Either due to my using to many specials (not too often) or through damage I hit it and get an instant boost.

5. Stat Migration (under Contol-c bottom right corner) can be your friend. Fight. See where you have the most troubles and use SM to fix or aid them. Just so you know this is how it works. For each or the 3 main stats there are 2 secondary stats. For an example Health has Strength and Constitution. Damage and cost of specials comes outof yourhealth pool. Cost of specials is reduced by an amount based on your Strength (not sure of the percentage) and your Con aids in regeneration of Health.

And last but not least. Try to fight something. You will never know if you can win or lose unless you try. If you can't win. Watch what happens during the fight. What could you do to fight better? Would a different type of move help?

And most of all Enjoy the time you use.

Just a quick bit of advice: A wookiee can max out his secondary abilities and still have 800 points in each of his HAM bars. He'll regenerate fast and his special attacks cost less.

And if you plan ondoing anymarksman (or even if you don't), get a bowcaster. It may be had to find one, depending on your server, but wookiess are certified with it as soon as they begin the game. Even if you do nothing but brawler, get a bowcaster for a little backup.

And good luck out there!
