Thread: At what point can I use Vibro Knucklers?

I would recommend using vk's once you are one or two boxes into unarmed.
Basically the VK's get the TKA damage bonus even when you are certified. So you are doing very little damage with them, but the damage bonus allows you to do high damage anyway. Fists attack at a speed of 4 seconds, and VK's with a good slice can get as low as 1.5, which will mean a significant speed gain that easily offsets the small loss in damage. Fists are considered 10-20 weapons so the loss of their damage isn't that important.

The certification is at novice tka, but I recommend that you use them anyway. You will get a damage reduction, but they will make you attack faster if you have a good speed.

As an example, I tested myself at around unarmed 2. With no weapon I was doing around 70 points with out styles every 4 seconds. With knucklers I was doing around 55 about every two seconds. You can also have vibroknucklers sliced and put power ups on them so keep that in mind also.
