Thread: Stat migration for a Twi'lek brawler?

Ok, I just can't figure out what to put my stats to for my character. I just recently got unarmed 4 and I still feel like my stats aren't right. So, anyone who either has a twi'lek or knows can you tell me what exactly I should put my stats too please?

Also was creating a Twi'lek for a tka a bad idea? Does it put me at a disadvantage pvp wise? I mean I still would like to be a force to be reckoned with.

You really don't need to worry about your race - Twi'leks make just as good brawlers as Humans, or Trandoshans, etc. For any brawler, I personally believe you're insane if you don't max out, or close to it, your mind pool.

Get yourself a good suit of kinetic-resistant armor, Ubese works well, and migrate just enough into your health/action secondaries so you can wear it. Take down your Health and Action (primary pools) to 600-700, depending on where you feel comfortable - and put all the rest into Mind, Focus, and Willpower.

I play a Human Master Brawler/Master Heavy Swordsman - my stats look something like this:

Health 600
Strength 400
Constitution 400
Action 600
Quickness 450
Stamina 450
Mind 1000
Focus 700
Willpower 800

That's not exact, but it's close. I have a full suit of kinetic-layered Composite that prevents 90% of the damage done to me, so all I really need to worry about is HAM costs. That's easily taken care of with food (I swear by both Tatooine Sunburn and Breath of Heaven). Don't make the mistake of putting Health as your biggest attribute - Mind's always the first to go in a big battle, since you can't heal it. Be sure to stock up on stimpacks, Muon Gold, and Durdinfire (I think? it's a drink that gives like 250 to mind), and heal as necessary.

Good luck! PM me if you need questions.

Hi. I've got a Twi-Lek Master Brawler / TKM and am halfway up the Swordsman tree. You will be a force to reckoned with. First max out the mind stats. 99% of the time this will incap you. Personally I almost completely minimize my health and action substats, either I'm buffed and regen so fast it doesn't bother me or I use a stimpack, and then I have my health and action set around 775 so I'm not totally useless when non-buffed or non-powerboosted.

Frankly, yes, it does put you at a slight disadvantage to be anything other than a human, as they can migrate their stats to have an 1100 base mind regen rate. But, personally I think thats kinda cheap and anyhow I don't like playing a human toon anyhow.

Congrats on Unarmed 4! The work to get to TKN is rough, but well worth it!

Well most of what they are saying about Twi'leks being just a good as any other is true, they are contradicting themselves. They tell you that mind stats are your likely weakpoint, yet they neglect to say that Twi'leks are the dumbest race (ok maybe tied with Bothans) out there. Don't believe me? Create 1 of each new race and play with the stat migration before you pick your planet.

Twi'leks get:

1100

500

500

Heck, even the (dumb) Dosh get:

1000

500

600 (which is regen and more important than focus)

I'd pick zabrak:

1000

500

900

They also get equalize. A wonderful skill that is like a second chance at a fight...

Uggh, I am not liking what I am hearing one bit lol. I just got tka today and don't want to create a brand new character(sincemine isatwi'lek). I mean Ijust don'twant to lose all my hard work, my house, my supplies and everything else. Am I really at that much of a dissadvantage?

My friend got me into this game and told me all about how he create da trandoshan because of all the bonuses towards tka. I was going to create a trandoshan also but then my friend said, "other races are good so dont pick that race just because I did. " Once he said that it ruined it so I picked my own. I didn't think they were that weak minded. Also if mind is such an issue how come there aren't any mon calimary(sp?) tka's? Don't they have the highest mind in game?

Also my question is this? How many people have deleted their first character on their main server and created a new one? If I create a new one will I take a lot of **edit** for it?

There is more to life than min/maxxing a character. I'm not a roleplayer but enjoy being a brawler badass as a twi-lek. More often than not when out with buddies I'm the last one standing when their rifleman/ch/commando/pistoleer/whatever gets cut down and I'm still up and dealing damage.

Just enjoy the game, tweak you mind stats up and carry lots of muon.
