Thread: combat upgrade & the lvl thing

ok im not sure how the lvl thing works but i went to the narg caves to try to get me some xp, well before i could take out the whole cave alone with my swrd but i cant use that anymore, accourding to my weapons i no longer can use any of them till i master each of the professions, my swrs my stun batons, my ft, all have like lvl req 56 & i need master on each profession to use em, i had to refit (something new to me) my armor to bone armor intead of my comp armor & i was planning on doing tka but i dont get any xp from most enemies lol where the heck should i hunt & how does the buffs work, i mean it has been a long time since i played but i used to be able to hunt on dant but now i dont think id live if i tried it lol
please let me know, im cet for assaly armor tho i have some hen from it, & battle armor & i think recon,

Firstly edit your post so I can read it. Second, the game has changed alot, it seems its faster grouped now.

Depending on what profession you are using, you go up 1 to 2 Combat Levels for every 1 or 2 skill boxes you train on no matter what the tier. So a Master novice profession will get you around CL 12-15. Master Elite profession is closer to CL 30 or so. Solo huntin most all caves is out. You are better off fighting CL enemies 1 to 2 CLs below yours. You wont get that on the content based caves and areas. You are looking at mission terminal hunting for 500 creds and about 1-3000 XP per round and going up the LOONNNG way. Unless you group. But it is hard to solo now.

Thats why I will never come back. Soloing made the game, it gave u a sense of freedom. Like one day i would think about hunting pikets to sell meat, the next I would go find new furnishing for my house, or go hunt some loot-bearers. Now though... it can never happen, for one it is all focused on grouping, and second, if i place a house anywhere, creatures that werent there then, might spawn and could be like 10 lvls higher. Shame... is the only word I can think of, for what has happened.

I solo'd from L30 to L80 after the CU and I still solo L82 missionsevery day.
You were obviously doing it wrong...

well i have to check my actual stats again on my day off but im mostly melee at the moment (mainly cause i cant use my ft anymore my thrower reqires me to be master commando lol as with all my weapons now even my poo stun batons lol
