Thread: Combat level Please Help

Came back to playing after about 2 years, friend told me the game changed a ton and to check it out again since I have the station account blah blah blah
Come back and don't quite understand the whole Combat Level thing, all I can find is if you master 2 elite professions you are level 80. My question is I am currently a MTKA, Master Brawler and points spread out across a few professions. Currently working on Fencer and have the respec command. If I drop the Master Brawler and Polearm line and gain 3 boxes in Fencer would my level go up or down from what it currently is? In other words does Brawler profession really effect the level or is it just the elite professions?

You would probably go up in level. Having a master elite in the brawler side, you won't drop but maybe 1 level dropping the lower brawler stuff, but you'll gain more in the elite branches. Overall you would probably gain 2 levels.
