Thread: Curious about this template.
Here's a couple of the important defenses you will gain from your supposed temp. It all looks fine and dandy. But you are correct when you assume that having 3 melee classes may prove to be a bit redundant. Think about it. You can only swing with one weapon at a time. And only certain defenses will work per class you are using at that moment. I.E. With a gaffi stick equipped you will dodge. With a scythe you will counter. But what will happen when you find a ranged class that can kite very well and doesnt lag so ther is no chance of ever catching him? I will leave you with that question.

it is missing ranged mitigation
Meet a master rifleman and you will understand.
However! Your ability to do this number...... [insert your most accurate attack here] has missed so and so! Will be very high.
To fully understand templates you need to understand caps, mitigation, def vs, the offensive power that your template creates is also crucial.
For each dabble you do w/o mastering you may gain important defenses but you lose the ability to be offensive. This has alot to do with ranged modifiers and your (masters) accuracy.
Popular temps for accuarcy would be bh pistols, pistols etc....
Well rounded templates usually have one melee master and one ranged master.
Burst run at em and knock em down.

Personally I"d suggest not master TKA. It's not needed if you master both fencer and swordsman. Fencer is great for PvP, swordsman is great for PvE. I don't think you'd need to use TKA at all. I'd just pick up TKA meditation line, and maybe one defensive tree. Use the free skill points for master brawler. Intimidate2 and lunge2 make a huge difference for fencer and swordsman. Not to mention the CoB bonuses and speed bonuses.
I just don't think you'll get as much out of mastering all 3 as you would just mastering 2 and dabbling in the other in order to master brawler and maybe pick up some medic.
what do you guys think of Master Fencer, Master Swordsman, Master Brawler, Novice Medic (yesi can have all these)
Is that a good template for pve? I like to solo so could i handle a krayt, NS elder, Geo, Crystal caves?
I'm trying to do a template and try it also, I was going full melee when someone pointed out Master Rifleman, I started trying and it's a hell of a class. You are able to shoot, far and well so in PvP you are always a factor, as you are closing you are shooting. Then you need offensive power when you get there. Also these templates are based on the assumption you stack melee/eranged defense bonus and Def vs. mods.
1) Master Rifleman , Master Fencer, Pistoller 1041 , Medic 2100
You shot well, you're capped at melee and ranged defense, your dodge is capped and you get healing abilities. You def vs. mods are amazing!
2) Master Rifleman , Master Swordsman, Fencer 4400 , Medic 1000
The same as before with worst def vs mods, but now you hit Mind pool always and you do a lot of damage.
3) Full melee Scout 4000 , Master TKA , Master Swords , Fencer 4400
Why scout, you don't shoot so you have to be fast on your feet, plus you have no ranged mitigation so you need to force melee. TKM you have Knockdown attacks wich coupled with a very big hit from swordsman can kill very well, you have the best class to kill everything up too highend mobs and the class to kill high end mobs, in PvP you have lots of defenses, you run and you can Knockdown...
Hope these ideas help and post your comments guys...

Yea thats a awsome template for pve. Intimdate 2 is so helpful when tanking high end mobs. Swordsman is awsome for damage, and those fencer defenses will help you.
