well, make go berserk and time it until you "unserk"

then make a looping macro (while you still can!) to keep you berserk

btw, afk macroing is against the EULA, and you can be banned

I used this one when I was a TKA, it was my first button I pressed everytime I entered combat. You can change some of the attacks since you dont have them. It goes something like this.

/unarmedkockdown2;

/unarmeddizzy;

/unarmedstun;

/unarmedblind;

/unarmedhit3;

/unarmedhit3

I think the guy is looking for a macro that he can use to leave the game running and go do something else while his character grinds the unarmed skill. If that is true, try the TKA FAQ there is a macro there that works, but you need a ranged weapon for it(to attract critters to you) since there is no such thing as a run to target command.

I'd disagree on a couple of points here. First of all, whether you believe AFK macroing is immoral, not playing the game as intended or whatever, it is NOT against the EULA. This is a common misconception and if you are unsure, ask a CSR. Pain to other players it may be, illegal it is not (at least for the time being).

Secondly, there are some very easy ways of auto targeting and running after your target (listed below). I'm not making any statement as to whether anyone should or shouldn't do afk macroing: it's really up to the individual concerned,and your play style. Some people love macros, others hate them. But until publish 10 comes in, afk macroing can be doneand if you want to have a crack at it, then here's some ideas for you.

/tagetCycleOutwards;

/pause 01;

/attack;

/follow;

/pause 05;

/harvest meat;

/pause 01;

/harvest meat;

/pause 01;

/harvest meat;

/pause 01;

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

Find a mob spawn outside a major npc city and kill them all. check where the mobs respawn and kill them all again. Check where they spawned the second time (to make doubly sure you know where they will appear). Make a note of how long it takes to kill eachcreature. Then move your char to the optimal spot of the spawn and change your view to third person overhead : the creatures should be spawning in your field of view. Then run the macro above.Check the pause after the follow command and make sure it gives you enough time to kill each target. I've got harvest meat to help build xp for scout skills in the above but you can lose those ifnot needed. You can add specials after the follow command, just adjust the pause time that follows to take into account how long it takes to kill the target using your specials. Watch your HAM cost though!

If you find your char wanders off away from the spawn site (can happen), then get yourself a droid, give it a name and plonk it a short distance in front of the spawn and tell it to "stay".Switch your view to first person facing the spawn. Now add the following after the last pause and before the /ui action line. Let's assume the droid's called Trevor;

/target (trevor);

/follow;

/pause 05;

/stopfollow;

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

This will ensure your char kills the mob, harvests its meat and then returns to the optimal position ready to kill the next mob that spawns. Just make sure you adjust the pauses to give your char enough time to run up to the creature,kill it, harvest meatand a similar length pause to make it back to your droid. The droid will eventually run out of power but as you don't want it to move, that's not a problem. Macro works best on low level mobs, less xp per kill obviously but as you kill a lot of creatures due to the high spawn rate it does rack up your xp earned.

I totally disagree with the whole afk macro for a combat profession for ent and doc i can understand but the fun of a combat profession is to do it yourself and you learn alot abotu your profession in the process.

I would sort of disagree with that macro for the simple reason that it uses /follow. This can often cause your character to target a far off creature and follow him away from the spawn point and sometimes your toon might end up venturing into some nasty creature and get killed. A solution to this would be instead of using /follow to go to your target, to use a CDEF ranged weapon that you're not proficient in to make your target come to you and then switching to unarmed or VK. If you want a macro that does that look in the TKA forum FAQ, as I said before.

Hmmm, well I'd like to agree with you there SmuuthAzz but what is it exactly that you learn about a combat profession from grindingwhole professions manually that you didn't learn in the firsthour of grinding (or less)? Sure you get some more specials as you progress, but fitting those into attack patterns and trying out different combinations takes like 10 mins after which you learn nothing new. It'softenthe difference between killing a quenker in 2 secs or 1 sec. Hardly learning a profession is it. Until PvE has some decent content, challenges or better AI then I just don't see the point of putting up with hours of mind numbing tedium just to "learn" a profession. Better off using a macro to skill up then trying your skills in PvP: that's where you really learn your profession. Mind you PvP is pretty much finished for the moment, so you'll just have to learn the ins and outs at a later date. Beating up on quenkers for hours on end at your keyboard is not learning a profession, its just tedious grinding.
