Thread: Combat Equilibrium, Alertness and Toughness

I had a look through the knowledge base for the item above and they only thing I could find was the zabrak equilibrium skill, raising a ticket for answers got the reply: "F**K OFF!" (I paraphrase, but you get the gyst I'm sure).
So to ask here... What are: Combat equilibrium, alertness and toughness?

Combat equilibrium is mod that affects automatic recovery from a forcedposture change,meaning someone will hit you with posture change attack and succeed,you'll kneel and immediately stand again.
Alertness offers a chance to defend against surprise shot from a covered sniper.
Toughness willdecrease melee damage taken while you're using the proper weapon for the corresponding toughness skill (unarmed,one-hand,two-hand,polearm).

here is another question dealing with combat equilibrium. if i remember correctly fencers and teras kasi, are the only classes (as far as i know anyways) and is it profession dependedant or is it a passive skill where it is in effect at all times? reason why i ask this is because of my all melee template i have +40 combat equilibrium, and was wondering if it worked while i used my swordsman skills, or just when i used fencing, or teras kasi skills.

I'm pretty sure combat equilibrium is passive and will work with any weapon equipped. However, it honestly isn't as great a skill as it sounds. Normally, yes, it is a nice convenience. However, if you are dizzied, it can be a horrible nightmare as you auto-kd yourself.
