Dodge, Block and Counter Attack become active depending on what weapon you have equipped. Once you have equipped a weapon, only one defense becomes active..Dodge if your a Pistoleer/Fencer, Block if your a Pikeman / Rifleman, Counter Attack if your a carbineer / swordsman, or defense acuity if you are unarmed / have a knuckler equipped. The only types of defenses you can stack and use at the same time are:
-Defense versus States
-Melee/Ranged Mitigation
-Ranged / melee defense
-Types of special toughness mods in Fencer/TK
All defenses cap at +125, so if you are a master fencer and you dodge, you only need pistoleer 1-0-0-0 to have maximum dodge, this is ofcourse if you do not have a +25 skill tape looted that you are wearing for dodge.

As I suspected, thank you.
With regards to SEAs I thought mods from that were in addition to the cap. Can anyone confirm?

i have seen this happen a few times over the past few days. it seems when i look again in 5 min it is back to normal.

I heard that any tapes you have increase X value that is on the tape regardless of the cap. So in theory you could have +150 dodge

Excuse me if this is posted elsewhere, I've tried the search tool over the past half hour and all I've come up with is "Too many searches".
If I have +105 dodge and +105 counterattack do they both take affect when I use either weapon?
Do I get a chance of a dodge while I'm holding a scythe and a chance of counterattack while I'm holding a stun baton?
