This is what I did.........get a good sliced curved sword. ( I got a damage sliced one that had a max damage of 330 and speed of 2.2, but many people might think a speed sliced is better) Kill yard trash around a major city until you get the second box. Then go to dantooine and kill regular quenkers. I made sure I had full doc buffs + brandy + ahrissa. I made sure my mind was at 1500 so I would have no mind costs to my specials. Also I had a good suit of ubese (70% +), but I'm sure a suit of 50% ubese would work if you're on a budget. Also, the missions are 5K each, so you should break even with the buffs by the money you make on the missions. Get in a solo group and pull high level quenker missions. Make sure they are still the 5K payout ones. These will spawn 5 quenkers and will net you a lot of xp. You'll get novice swordsman in no time by doing this. Also, I generally used heathit1 on things since it targeted one pool, but spin1 can be decent once you get it if you have multiple critters on you.

Hope that helps

If you're a wookie, try to find some of that Kashyykian (sp?) ceremonial armor. I think it's around 50% kinetic resist which is more than enough for what you need. If cash is a problem, then at least try to save enough to buy the chestpiece (around 12K on my server) by doing missions until you reach 2-handed 3. My strategies only work if you have the cash to buy the stuff. So let me know if money is an issue, and I'll try to come up with more ideas. (As I"m sure others will too)

Note: I meant HEADhit1 in the first post......not heathit1

If you can afford armor and buffs it will go much faster.

I just leveled from novice brawler to novice swordsman in one buff session a few nights ago. I have a brawler trainer in my city on tatooine. I got doctor and musician buffs, equipped a suit of decent chitin armor (%50 kinetic resist) and used speed sliced weapons with speed powerups.

I found that even at novice brawler I could handle dune lizards, and greater desert womp rats.

To get box 1 - Used Berserk with Heavy Axe
To get box 2 - Used Two hand hit 1 with Two-Handed Axe
To get box 3 - Used Two hand head hit 1 with Two-Hand Curved Sword
To get box 4 - Sames as box 3
To get Novice Swordsman - used the area attack given at box 4 on a lair of Desert Razorbacks.

All this took me about 2.5 hours.

get a nice curved sword, buffs, and composite armor, and head to dantooine.. do quenker missions, its remarkable how much damage swordsman does before you are even a novice.
