From what you've been saying I would recommend TK. If you like to play unbuffed then the powerboost ability (which gives you a 10 min boost to your HAM) will be usedful.TK has a wide array of specialsso you can pick to dmg any pool you want. The biggest drawback to the profession is that you are limited to one damage type (kenetic) but since youare also picking up rifleman this shouldn't pose a problem for you.

Hmm, I would say Swordsman would be nice, here's why: It is the strongest PvE profession IMO, plus, it also deals mind damage, so you can focus on the mind. But TK is really fun and you can target all pools and have a KD.

Ok, here's yet another professions post. I'm stuck! I recently deleted my main char on Infinity because a Zabrak Pikeman really wasn't working for me, the HAM costs were too huge and i'd literally end up killing myself.
Now I'ma human I'm undecided on a profession (or mix of professions). I'm going Rifleman for sure (it's always been my backup) with some scout and some medic, but I'm completely stuck for a melee prof. I'm not the least bit interested in pvp because I tried it and, quite frankly, both sides annoy the hell out of me. I'm only interested in pve and being the best I can possibly be for my guild. I'm currntly 1 Handed 4 going for Fencer - it's nice to be able to spam my specials, even if the damage isn't great.
Now, it seems that every melee prof reckons theirs is the best, whether it's TK, Pike or whatever. I want to know, objectively, which is the most useful for unbuffed pve. I was thinking of mixing up Meditate from TK, the dodge tree from Fencer and then mastering one of the other 2. I'd like to go back to pikeman, but the HAM costs are really making me think hard about it, even though it's my favourite. Also, would the dodge modifier from Fencer work when wielding a pike?
Random thought: Why do Swordsman use hammers and axes?
Any help would be hugley appreciated.
