Please can someone advise me?
I'm a brawler trained in unarmed only (4-0-0-0)
I am trying to complete the quests in the village but the Sith thugs seem to strong.
I have comp armour, I always get a buff before I go and I take brandy.
Am I missing something as my mind stats seem to fail first
Is there anything I could buy to give me a better chance
thx for the help

Lots of money, but you can't fight heh?
What to buy, what to buy..... How about a master swordsman?![]()
Contractthe services of a master combat profession to serve as a body gaurd for you on those quests. I'm half joking here, but only half. Seems very in flavor for a master merchant to me.

Alright. In seriousness? I don't see the FS quests happening for you with unarmed 4.OneHanded 4...maybe. And that is a big maybe. Maybe with a really, really good ackley weapon, sliced for speed, you might be able to pull it off. With unarmed though... there just isn't anything that is going to help your damage enough to make those fights anything but near impossible, or just long and tedious at best. I don'y know which quests you are running, but in the quests I ran for Whip, I was happy enough to be able to snipe away at those groups and whittle them down before charging in. As a TK student though? You're going to have it rough. There's a food called (rakian?) ....burnout sauce that increases unarmed damage. You'll want that. There are speed and accuracy enhancements. You'll want as much of that as you can get. Damage attachments actually work for unarmed, unlike for anything else. May the force be with you. You're probably going to need it.
ohh and for enhancing mind, don't forget the entertainer buffs, dancer and musician. Get both if at all possible. Also hot key muon gold, and canape in case things start to go south.

to help the mind stats, migrate all of your stat points into mind at an image designer, (if you are a human, 1000 mind, 1000 willpower, 1000 focus) that should help with reducing your mind.

My suggestion would be to spend one day on either Dantooine or Endor and get Master TKA. Bolle Bolles and Lantern Birds. 3k xp a pop, easy as sin to off, and they don't death blow.

Going to be tought to do those with just unarmed 4. Get good foods, maybe even a non ch pet. I think you would probably be best off to have someone just go with you to do them, or master a elite, like TKA or Swordmsman.

Here are a couple suggestions
Buy some BE Vagnerian Canape
stats =
700+ Focus
700+ Willpower
Its a food so you can eat 2 of these
Then Pop 2 Brandy's
400+ to all Mind Stats
See a Master Dancer and Master Musician for Mind Buffs
and check the condition on your comp armor, make sure you dont have pieces worn out.

Of all the skills, unarmed 4 isn't the one I'd use (haven't done FS quests nor do I intend to but I have done the TKA grind) you'd be best to get novice TKA and then you would have a chance.
From what I've read (if you are going Jedi anyway) you'll want skills to protect yourself on your grind to Knight, if you can't handle yourself now don't expect a Jedi Hunting BH (like myself) to be any easier...

I recommend taking along a VibroKnuckler, if you don't already have one... preferably one with a low speed.
You'll get the usual "You aren't certified to use this weapon," except the VKs are faster than real unarmed fighting.
Another thing you might want is... to get the Novice TKA skill. Seriously, you do so much more damage even at Novice (and you become certified for VKs, dealing even MORE damage) it isn't funny.

As everyone else has said, unarmed to do the quests will be VERY hard if not impossible. So far i've done all melee professions at least up to IV, and have mastered swords. The unarmed grind was by far the most tedious and took the longest because you just don't do any damage. My advice, pick up 2 handed swords IV you will be MUCH more likley to finish the quests that way. Although i don't know how hard some of them will be.
But listen to everyone else and get food/buffs/emergency spice. All great suggestions. Good Luck
