Basically, the speed cap is the fact that you can never attack faster than once per second.
Each special has modifiers that, in conjunction with your player's speed and your weapon's speed will slow down your speed of preforming that particular special.

I keep hearing people talking about it, but can anyone explain it? I'm working my way towards TK Novice atm, so I'm not in much danger of it. Just curiousity mainly.
Thanks!

That link is great!!
My only question is the accuracy of the unarmed dps. I think with TKA there is a set amount of damage you do bare-handed which is modified by your VK. I don't think that theDPS calculations at the site include this base unarmed damagesinceputting in myVK numbers givesme like 1/3 of the dps I do as swords which I know isn't true. Any ideas how toincorporate the skill mod: unarmed damageinto this calculation?

Sure. You have an unarmed damage modifier. Take the figure after race, skill, and skill enhancing attachments, and add that figure to both minimum, and maximum damage values on your VK.This is a good chance to see the difference between a TKM with, and without and additional +25 unarmed damage in SEA's as well.
