Hello!
Im one of does people who dont like the idea of Defense stalkers! I really dont like the idea..
If Joe and Bob both are masters in the art of Pikeman, joe should not win just because he had trained in using one-handed black stun Dildos, and got more defense, when he is using a Pike!
Your not improving your skills with a pike, when your using a sword... ehh... dildo! Thats just common logic mates!
But then again, I think one of the most wonderful things about this game is the abillity to combine skills and proffesions!
What about master brawler, would give a bonus to changing weapons in combat!
After the Combat balance, it will probably be a hugh loss of strategy to change weapon in a fight.. What if you got no downtime if you wanted to change meleeweapon if you had master brawler?
So Joe would be fast at changing strategy if he both had Master pike and master fencer! I think this would be a great little touch for your character to improve two different proffesions skills!
So if Bob did the same, but without master brawler, he would have allot of downtime because of the time taking to change weapon, and it would give joe a nice and fair advantage!

My second suggestion is that lunge1 and lunge2 gets revamped... I simply dont like the idea of us being able to hit a target 20m away! Its just not making sense.. I can see that we deserve to stop kiters, but its too much...
Cant we change it to a battlecry, or something that will force the target to change porsture.. anything other than seeing a character hitting a target 20 meters away with a Vibro knuckler.... maybe a bommerang(maybe too far fedged)!

I have asked many times that master brawlers do not have the weapon delay, it is a dead issue with the Devs. Currently they have no intention to remove it.
(I will still bring it up where approriate though)

The 20 meter lunge was designed for server lag and not kiters. It was originally 9 meters but by the time it went off it was useless because of server issues. It had to do with where the server draws you and your opponent and the difference between when it updates both. The devs extended it to 20 meters so technical stuff became a non-issue.

Well, When I was a Master BH, I designed a skill tree with -1 second delays throughout the profession. One when you master 2 out of the three weapons tree, another -1 when you complete the third combat tree, then -1 at master BH. I am no longer a BH, I am a master brawler, TKM, almost master fencer, but I believe that this idea should go to BH's. They are the elite profession that should rely on switching weapons. They're profession has 3 different weapons in it, but with the delay, youdont see any strategies with switching weapons.
I would however be up for a (-1) modifier at master brawler, and get a (-1) modifier at master marksman. Therefore a master of melee has a benefit over a normal defense stacker, but I dont believe that a master brawler should get no switch delay. This only at master brawler would throw off balance even more. I would rather see this in BH's since they have to learn 3 different weapons just to get required for BH, then learn another weapon to master, while in brawler, we are not forced to learn more than one to be qualified for any weapon, it is our choice to master it. Maybe if we add something similar in requirements to BH, say master brawler/ 4/0/0/0 scout, and this unlocks another profession that can focus on more skills for melee combat sort of like what BH does with ranged. Maybe even have it as BH, but a melee BH, have the investigation line the same, then unarmed,swords,pike trees. Therefore a BH can either be fully melee, fully ranged, or still be a combo if they want to be. Before any of this happens though, I would like to see complete balance of the professions where a master of one profession has an actual advantage over a dabbler of the same profession. We should see little modifiers when working up the tree, and a buch of mods in the master box.
Let me edit something quick. I forgot to mention that the "swords" tree in the melee BH would have specials/mods/etc... that would apply to both one and two handed swords. If this melee BH would be added, then we can have a (-1) modifier after you master two out of the three weapons trees in the profession, another (-1) modifier after the third tree is finished, then another (-1) at master. So the master has no delay.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Master Brawlers and Master Marksmen should get a "Quick Draw" ability.

Bounty Hunter too... they have 3 different weapon trees, specialize in using different weapons.
