What got me to unarmed 4 quickly was to team up with a MCH who has some nasty pets, this way you can basicly fight anything as long you stay behind the pets. I made some real nice xp fighting rancors.

Don't use composite though, use Ubese.

You can get some nice 70% and up kinetic resistance on ubese armor, not to mention it's much cheaper and has much less encumberance than composite. Composite is great for PVP but Ubese is best for PVE where 90% of it is kinetic damage.

do you get more Unarmed xp when grouped than solo? I am also trying to make the jump from Unarmed 3 to 4. Killing Quenkers on Dantoonie takes forever, even with a Vibro Knuckler.

I made myself some Mabari armor and ended up with 22% kinetic. Its nothing compared to my Ubese and Composite, but Mabari only takes up 100 substats. So, i can spam my specials without needing Doctor buffs. Mabari is usually really cheap on the bazaar. I haven't located the resources to make Advanced Mabari, but i think i could get the Effectiveness to 30%. Then get the armor sliced and its a win win situation. If you get it sliced for resistance, then you get higher Effectiveness. If you get it sliced for encumbrance, then you'll have better substats when wearing it. Its underrated armor because everyone is so focused on Ubese and Composite at Master level of Armorsmith.

If you wear a full suit of Advanced Ubese (the 70% kinetic kind), then you'll end up with very low substats. Composite can get up to 80% kinetic, but you'd need to be buffed by a master doctor to wear it.

I haven't tried it yet, but stacking a Personal Shield Generator on topof the armor will also help reduce the damage. Currently, PSGs suffer from a stat shifting bug. PSGs don't reduce any personal stats, but won't last as long as armor. The key is keeping your substats high enough to use specials without killing yourself. Wookies can wear PSGs.

Go to Tat next to Lar's Homestead and theres usually some good spawns of cupas and zucca boars (on Lowca anyways) they give around 450 xp which isnt much but theyre really easy to kill if you just /berserk them to death.

it really isnt hard to get but it gets a little boring after a while.

Best way to get unarmed IV is to afk fight spawns outside a city. Not only can you make some decent money doing it, you can get some great exp while you sleep/ go to work or school / live your life.
