You don't have to travel all the way to Nym's to see one, or Dathomir for that matter. They are ondisplay in the guild halls which contain brawler trainers in static cities everywhere. It looks like a statue with 4 swords sticking out. They kinda look like a vibro knuckler from hades.

I highly doubt scythes would be considered fencing weapons. but what profession do you think they could be in?

I was reading the post by our corrosponadant about what weapons would be cool and that got me thinking.

Wouldn't it be cool to throw your weapon 16 meters then pull it back and prepare for another attack?

I dont know...I dont think it would fit into anything.

What do you think it would go in if anything?

Yeah, adding the scythe isn't really buffing 2hd swordsman, its just correcting a long standing bug. The cert has always been there.

Sure.. cool for a ranged player. Not a melee.

cert. for scythes is under 2 handed swords, but they don't exist anywhere in the game yet.

a thrown weapon would be cool, but really that's what the ranged combat is for
