Well since you've been so good at accepting it as an answer from the DEVs, I would like to put forth the riflewooks answer to this as being "wait for the C/U/R/B".That you profess to your "interest waning" and an aggravation over inablility to enact change so near to the C/U/R/B is quite the untimely omen for most that visit this professions forum. Its disheartening that our Correspondent should decide to hang it up soclose to the most significant changes to our profession since the games release. I truly hope this isn't the darkened mirror reflecting this professions place beyond the C/U/R/B.
If you are dead set on resigning your correspondent position, then all the best to you. You have done well in your time and your efforts to bettering Rifles and the Rifle identity are greatly appreciated. On a personal note, the way you championed the cause of the bowcaster has always been an endearing point to me. Hopefully your efforts there were not for naught.

One thing most don't know. Is that there has been a term limit of six months given for Corrs.
Personally I think that is a good thing. But it would also mean that my term would be up in the middle of the CU/R/B testing.
It will be much easier of a transition to make the switch prior to testing instead of in the middle. Much less disruptive this way.
PS - I've listed my ideas for the Bowcaster to the CU/R/B testers. It was well liked. If it actually happens we'll have to wait and see.

It will be a great shame to see you go Waste. Your forums have helped me a great deal throughout my time as a rifleman and it will be a great shame to see you go. If you have not yet chosen the new correspondant it would be my honour to continue your work here.
I don't get to choose the new Correspondent. Tiggs or another Red name should post the opening and where to send resumes for all those interested in the position. They make the decision.
I encourage everyone that is interested in the position to apply.
Actually it has been a bit longer. I took up the mantle 8/14/04. So it's been seven months.

Ooh damn... has it really been that long since you've been correspondant here? It feels like such a short time. I want to thank you for the voice of reason and help in the rifle community
if blue-glowie island isn't to your liking, I'm sure we can find a place for you on TC.
