Dizzy/KD does not work on creatures if that is what you are trying it on. It only works on NPC's and PC's

That's exactly my problem, WolfGuy. Glad I'm not the only one. . . now we just need to get it fixed.

Last night I was at Tusken fort. It's been a while since I've been back there. I'm a master fencer and used to be able dizzy/lunge them easily. They would fall back down repeatedly till I finished killing them. Now, I get the same exact thing as described in the first post. You apply dizzy, then once you sucessfully lunge, it actually removes the dizzy effect. Dizzy is definately not wearing off on it's own, I've tested this about 100 times. The devs either did this purposely or it's a bug. I'll be testing this via PvP shortly to see if I get the same results.

Dizzy immediately clears when followed by any sort of posture down. Tested using Fencer:
In the first example the dizzy wore off as soon as the chief was posture downed. Then when he was still kneeling a dizzy was reapplied and instantly wore off.
Pikeman moves demonstrate the same phenomenon:
Dizzy wore off as soon as the Tusken was posture downed.
I have plenty more examples logged of dizzy wearing off instantly when the target is posture downed or if he is already kneeling when dizzied. Furthermore I have observed the same behaviour plenty more times than I was able to log.
In fact while writing this post I saw a Tusken lying prone. I ran up to him and dizzied. He instantly stood up with no dizzy...
Pikeman also has a knockdown attack. I did not see dizzy wear off when using this any more often than usual.
14:48:26 You use Skull Slash on a Tusken chief for 1044 points of damage!
14:48:26 a Tusken chief looks dizzy!
14:48:27 You use Blinding Slash on a Tusken chief for 531 points of damage!
14:48:27 a Tusken chief looks like he's having trouble seeing clearly!
14:48:28 You use Lunge Stab on a Tusken chief for 159 points of damage!
14:48:29 a Tusken chief looks a bit steadier on his feet.
14:48:29 You swing at a Tusken chief and hit for 202 points of damage.
14:48:30 You swing at a Tusken chief and hit for 222 points of damage.
14:48:31 a Tusken chief looks stunned!
14:48:31 You use Skull Slash on a Tusken chief for 885 points of damage!
14:48:32 a Tusken chief looks dizzy!
14:48:32 a Tusken chief looks a bit steadier on his feet.
In the first example the dizzy wore off as soon as the chief was posture downed. Then when he was still kneeling a dizzy was reapplied and instantly wore off.
Pikeman moves demonstrate the same phenomenon:
19:38:16 You use Tornado on a Tusken raider for 2024 points of damage!
19:38:16 a Tusken raider looks dizzy!
19:38:16 a Tusken raider looks stunned!
19:38:18 You use Knee-Cracker on a Tusken raider for 822 points of damage!

exact same as me, im Mfencer/TKM, i tested using both dizzy1 and 2 for fencer, which crossed out the weak dizzy idea, and unarmed dizzy/kd2 for tkm. Posture down breaks the dizzy for some strange reason. Funny enough this happened after i installed/played JTL.

We'll all see what it's going to look like after the revamp.

We need issues fixed NOW. The combat revamp is going to take months still, as they haven't even taken it to open beta. If they rush it then the new system will just be a big combat nerf, or completely exploitable. I would rather see little quick fixes here and there instead of waiting for this magic combat nerf thats supposed to save us all.

Dizzy/Lunge only works for Players not on NPC btw Just letting u know it's a new upgrade on SWG I think so NPC's wont b tooo easy.. But dont worry the Dizzy/KD works fine on NPC
Try it on Players it works on them

here's a "hotfix" for the dizzy problem... reverse the order. posture down attack THEN do your dizzy attack. sure, this needs fixing, but if you're attack speed is fast enough you'll stick the dizzy before they can stand back up again.

As a Master Pikeman, I have noticed strange things going on with dizzy also. My soloution, Posture Down, then Dizzy. Works like a charm.
However for the new guys here that may not know. You can not KD or PD more then once on a NPC. They will just stand right back up.

Thats not true.
If a ranged person or NPCis in prone/Kneel and you stick him with dizzy, and he stands up he *should* fall on his butt. Dizzy/Lunge works, but I always found it better to Lunge/Dizzy.
