- These two issues are Art department requests, and wouldn't actually use upmuch of the design/code developers time.
- Therefore the developer most likely found it a pleasant surprise compared to the list of"fix this"you'll find in the other Coorespondent reports. ![]()
- By this, he probably latched onto it with open arms, and paid it more attention than he really should have. ![]()
While the VK cert is a unarmed/TKA issue, it's a GLARING issue. Other brawlers (1h, 2h, etc.) do more dammage ----but the underlying theme is that it is still not comparable to the ranged classes with regards to (dammage, ham costs, modifiers for hitting, and defensive modifiers)
Add into the fact that as you start going to harder planets and mobs---they usually have kinetic resistance and/or armor! (in some cases--both) Thus, we end up doing less dammage and end up getting less experience.
The entire brawler profession is GIMP.
Look at the thread for the designer responses. It is working on the third week and nothing has been done in game to balance the professions.
I guess I should become a pistoleer. That way I can look "uber leet" kewl when I twirl my pistol and put it inmy holster. That wastwo real recommendations sent by the pistoleer correspondent. What is surprising is the WARM response given by the devs...~~~

I have one thing that has been bothering me...
I have a Unarmed Master character(Trandoshan) and when i use my Vibro knucklers i get more damage AND more speed even though i am not certified. What is curious though is that i get more damage and speed now at Master Unarmed than i got at Expert. I have no statistical proof of this speed increase but it very VERY much feels like i hit even faster now. The damage is easy to see that is is higher and that is pretty odd.
What i want to know is does the Unarmed Skillmods STACK with the stats on the Vibro? My vibro is a 2.2 delay, im not sure about its damage but i think its about 30 - 40 to 130 - 140.
If they stack then that has to be a bug and should be fixed, and if not, then the mere fact that i do more damage and at almost double the attack rate with an uncertified weapon MUST be looked at.
I would really like to know what is up with this. Thanks in advance and good luck in your testing!

I here by vote for ATLEAST 3 different unarmed weapons.
These weapons could be things such as: different versions of Katars and Knuckles.

-unarmed has a longer range than a fencer (unarmed 5m fencer 4m) umm this needs to be fixed
-we NEED defense against ranged please make us be able to attack while running
-shorten the knockdown timer for brawling classes.. this is the only way we stand a chance against ranged people because once they see us they start running..we have to knock them down so we can accualy hit them
-fencers were the only brawling class in the update who diddnt get lowered attack ham costs, if we do 4 special moves we praticly die and i would rather use my ryyk than my vibroblad
-MORE SWORDS and weapons for brawling class.- there are SO many guns but very few that are good for brawlers...fencers get what 4 swords? we need more swords
-make a difference between the classes currently swordsman are just as fast as fencers but swordsman are a LOT stronger make it like this
fencer- FAST and dodges ALOT
swordsman/heavy swordsman- should be slow but does hard damage
pikeman- should block and kick a lot more often(for instance darth maul)
tera kasi- no idea maybe make it even in all categories, fast,strong,blocking balanced at everything but not a specializer
I think the only way to fix the brawler class would be to give the brawlers a skill to either stop or slow a player's movement for a short amount of time from a distance. Give it an especially long timer like knockdown and there you have it. Kiting would be almost eliminated, but then again all that ranged players have as a strategy vs. brawlers is kiting, really. The game was designed for blaster-chase fights like Han and Chewy in the Death Star. Lots of unhappy customers.
Maybe a throw rock/weapon skill that would knock a player down or even just lowering their posturewould work. It would'nt need to do any damage, just stop a ranged specialist long enough for a brawler to finish them off.

Tell them to unbreak war cry. It was the only thing that kept stuff off me waiting on knockdown timer to recycle!

1) With master brawler and the +10 or 20 to beserk, beserk1 still fails to work as often as Beserk2. Since Beserk sucks so much now, using the very long lasting Beserk2 is just pointless. Its much better to use beserk1 so it drops quickly.
2)Beserk skill was needlessly nerfed. a 75pt damage add is ludicrously stupid. Why would a master skill add as much damage as it did at novice? 75pt static damage add doesn't scale. Beserk2 has to be fixed in some way.
