Thread: why unarmed 4 has been so hard....

SOE probobly has a coded amount of time needed for equal level oponents to kill each other. The longer it takes the less XP is awarded or the faster it takes the less xp that is awarded. So two level 13's face each other it should take 45secs to finish combat and full xp is awarded, a level 3 player goes to fight a 13 mob it will take longer so xp is lowered, a 30 player goes against a 13 mob combat is to quick so less xp is awarded.
See but that makes no sence to me. It should be if a lvl 3 attacks a lvl 13 and wins that character should get a greater amount of xp because it killed somthing 10 lvls higher than itself. Does that make sence to anyone else or just me?
I am currently collection the data for a comparision between unarmed and pistol. I am running it with a straight beat down and no specials to make sure that there is not any added xp for using those. Should have the results by Thursday as well as a complete set of stats for both unarmed and the pistol being used.
I've tested XP from the same type of mob a fair bit, and I can say with certainty that within a weapon type nothing changes the ammount of XP you get from a mob. Nothing. A TKA master that kills a mob in one hit will get the same number of XP points as a novice brawler using unarmed that takes his time and loses half his HAM doing it.
Actually, I'm not certain I know exactly that. I was testing it with much less difference in skill, but i do know that a vrelt gives the same experience when white as when light blue.

No, this is completely untrue. A novice brawler will get more than 1 xp for killing a gnort, however me, a 3/2/4/3 TKA, gets 1 xp. So your point is completely wrong. There are some animals which cause bugs, things like the kreetle, which some reason are green, and give 61 xp, however the overkreetle only gives about 5. It is all based on your skill/damage. As for time, this is untrue. If I basically kill something, but it slays me, but stays spawned, and I come back, and finish him off 5-10 minutes later, I will get the same amount of xp as if I had killed him without getting slain.
