I'd say go Swordsman - use TKA for PvE and switch to swords for the head hits in PvP..

Pikeman have the lowest toughness of all four melees and don't do more damage than a swordsman. If they fix the toughness issue and rebalance damages so that swordsmen don't have AR2 weapons that are faster than fencer items, then maybe re-evaluate..

You probably already knew this, but make sure you get some medic skills. It will make whatever melee profession you choose 10x better. Nothing like spending 70 mind to complete heal your health and action

of course you would need medic but.... Wouldnt it be better if they added a new tree to brawler like.....NUN CHUCK ARTIST!!!!!! that would rock and tka would be able to use it a combo that would never fail

Toughness does not stack. They are seperate stats. Unarmed toughness, 2 handed toughness ect.

I'm doing a Brawler/Scout combo. Mostly doing scout for the terrain navigation, but my goal is TKA/Pikeman. I threw Artisan in there, but that's to make the Tailor profession So I can make money and clothes for my guildies. Was considering dropping Artisan though and going for a medical profession to keep self suffecient. Any ideas on if that's spread too thin?

Hmm, I wonder what will have better reach in a fight TKA or a Pikeman, reality tells me is a Pikeman but the devs are so bias towards the Pikeman profession what will allow a TKA to have the same reach of a Pikeman. I'm a Master Brawler/Master Creature Handler/Almost Master Pikeman and let me tell you, with a Pikeman is so hard to fight because 80% of the time even though according to the devs we do the most damage but we miss so much that when we fight that is not even funny or fun. So for now TKA have it very easy compared to my brothers and sisters of the Pike, 1 handed sword and 2 handed sword.

I'm planning on beign a Teras Kasi Master, Brawler Master, and the supplimental skills will be Smuggler (0-1-0-0), Scout (4-0-0-1), and Medic (3-0-4-0)
