The posture/states (def v dizzy etc) are not effected by intimidation.

Testing those on a tka is stupid, they have no def (20 Kd, 5 dizzy if im not mistaken)

Try it on a fencer I wasnt dizzied/blinded/kd'd any more intimidated then not

Hi,

I'm close to get Master Browler (Some 13000 exp point in Two4 and 68000 exp point in Pole4)

I always use Intimidate1 against red-dot Mobs getting a lot of help in killing them. I have not enough experienced it against persons or players. It's just the HAM cost and the duration that sometimes prevent me to use it . In any case I prefer Intimidate than Warcry. It's really clear for me that this ability is very usefull and I'll be glad to test Intimidate2 as soon as I reach the Master level.

Thanks for the usefull infos

That list doesn't say that the target no longer Dodges/counterattacks/blocks. I have never seen them do so, and I know it's been documented by official sources. I think it's on a loadins screen that it says that.

Not sure about the vulnerability to KD, etc.

I always start off PvP with Warcry2 + Intimdate2. I almost knock down anybody that's got high secondary stats to KD/pos change/etc. Dunno, maybe I've got bad luck.

I do knockdown a lot of rifleman with lunge2 though.

A quick question - does Bio Engineered clothes or SEAshelp in getting intimidation to stick? I got a +17 Intimidate/Warcry shirt the other day and find that Im able to stick intimidate on entire camp of Jantas with one attempt on each Janta most of the time. Definetly alot better than what I was able to before. Just wondering whether it was just luck or these things really do work.

Another question do BE clothes AND SEAs stack..for example I have a shirt with +17 to intimidate. If I find a tape with +10 to intimidate will that also stack with the be clothing if I equip it on a belt?

If they are in different items, Im sure they stack to a maximux of +25. This is highest you can go using any SEA's for a single skill. I also have a Bandolier which gives me +13 to indimidate/warcry. If I equip both my shirt and the banolier, I get well over this but I get the +25 bonus only.

Just read this thread today. So the common theory of intimidate2 reducing you to 25% dmg and intimidate1 is 50% dmg is false? If so wouldn't it just be better for you to get some BE clothes and get the intimidate bonus so that you stick it more often? If intimidate2 only sticks more often and doesn't reduce the dmg any further I don't think it is worth the extra skill points in brawler to get master just for that. Warcry2 is pretty useless and lunge2 is ok but as a TKM I don't like my KD timer being based on my lunge2. I'd rather posture down with lunge1 and then KD and hope for the dizzy as well.

So can it be confirmed that intimidate2 i just a better chance of sticking, longer lasting Intimidate1?

intim2 last about 4 times as long also, allowing you to do more attacks instaed of wasting 1 out of every 5 or 6 attacks reapplying it.

1)The question of the 48sp for Master Browler is well known to me. I was Master Browler / master TKA!

The fact is that lunge2 is not the same thing as kd, nor the kd2. The range is 20m (without the VK). Very useful agains targets that run away from our steel hands lol. Basicaly I kded troops that run shooting to me and u know, when they are down they are dead! I had a macro on toolbar to unequip VK, hit lunge2 and equip the VK again. Now with the queue for this comand this macro has it's problems. Damm devs!

Now as rifleman (master lol) I don't have problems with running targets and I don't miss lunge 2 anymore. Lunge 1 is almost useless in my opinion, so I never use it now!

2)Intimidate2 is the only reason for which I cryed when I surrendered MB. The duration was super, on heavy targets when u have to save the mind. Now with intimidate1 I drain the mind a lot and this prevents me to use it. And don't forget Berserk2 of about 3min!!

3)warcry2 works! but warcry1 works too lol

Well, what I'm really asking is if I have BE clothing with +25 to intimidation and +25 warcry, which I do, is it worth it to master brawler. The +25 bonus will make intimidate1 stick almost all the time so that benefit is out the window. The only thing now going for intimidate2 is that it lasts longer. I always thought it further reduced dmg, as does everyone I had ever talked to about it. Now, I am a TKM. I am going 4030 doctor.

My question is, is it really worth the extra 48 skill points now if I'm only getting it for duration? I was TKM/master brawler for a long time but dropped it for hologrind, now I'm going back. So I know of the other moves. If warcry2 was actually a delay where you could do damage then it would damn well be worth it. But warcry2 is hardly a reason to get it. Lunge2 is the KD and a longer range than the posture down of lunge1. But like I said I'd rather posture down then dizzy then KD rather than a KD with no dizzy and my timer is on for 30 seconds. So lunge2 to a TKM is also not that good of a reason. The +5 to accuracy and +5 to dmg (I think it's dmg) is nice but with +205 accuracy already is another +5 worth 48 points? Berserk2 is out of the question. Unless something changed you could not do special moves while you used berserk so whats the point of using it if you are an elite master?

I thought it was worth 48 points when I thought intimidate2 was a 75% reduction and intimidate1 was 50%. If they are the same and the only difference is better chance of sticking (which I have clothing to make up for) and longer duration then I guess I don't think it's worth the 48 points to just not have to reapply intimidate again when I could use the 48 points to pick up another +50 to kd defense in fencer or grab the melee/ranged defense line.
