I'll agree on this. I found that it was very useful to have master brawler (had that before i had novice fencer), however currently (at0/4/3/3)i usually just bleed and blind, rather than lunge2 and warcry2. I thought it was in the cards to keep master brawler in the final build, but i think i might dabble in something else (not much to work with alongside master chef).
Sufficed to say, master brawler will make levelling Fencer much easier.

Ok, how about Master Brawler, Master Fencer, Master pistoleer, and add in Smuggler Dirty fighting III.
You could mess some stuff up with that template....

I'm going for Master Brawler/Fencer/Pistoleer and 1-0-0-0 Medic. I need to be able to heal myself...

Yup, intimidate2 makes up for the lack of toughness, add that to the already good defenses and master brawler/blademaster is a force.

I can almost solo a warlord, and I'm only 0-2-1-1 in fencer.
Correction, as of yesterday, I can soloTusken Warlords. 0-3-1-1 Fencer.

A clever fighter can still apply a knockdown at 20m without wasting the SP on master brawler. Its pretty easy (in theory). Burst-Lunge1-Dizzy2. By the time you hit with Dizzy2 they will be just about to stand up from running away from you, this leads to them falling down for awhile.
I usually try to land the dizzy first. Once the dizzy sticks then I go for the lunge. I find that the lunge works 95% of the time, but dizzy's can fail to stick quite a bit, especially against higher-end NPCs and of course PCs.
