this makes no sense and show a severe imbalance in game play - not to mention a disregard for the brawler community.

This is hardly severe. Man I swear some people only think nerf. How about the dev's make all the skills for every profession work first. Then we can talk about what needs to be "balanced".

I honestly cant believe anyone responded to the first post.

So basically you want someone who is a ranged fighter to either work into a macro or manual unequip the weapon then warcry then re-equip.

Last time I checked it cost skill points to get brawler.

Next thing you know people will be crying because an artisan can survey while holding a gun

How about going to the devs and asking for more loot or content in the game.

Unbelievable

Yes, it's frustrating to get beaten by anyone, but... I think this would be a real issue if only certain individuals were able to use a skill from another base prof. But that's just what it is... a base prof. I think the game would be far less interesting if you could ONLY go with one type of combat mode, don't you?

That's the beauty of a multi-tiered, multi-faceted combat system... the ability to use skill points in multiple areas to find what works best for you. A nice Combat Medic will do the trick against just about anyone... or any group of people... but that's another issue...

I agree with the 4 lasts posts. At first sight I thought that this COULD be an overpowered combo. But I've done some testing and lol.

Okay I can warcry a worrt. But it's 1 on 10 pikets longhorn, so that's not an ultimate combo at all, I guess someone just got killed by a (lucky) rfileman doing a Warcry.

Thinking about it, adding Master Brawler should be a nice and cleaver template.

I think you should be able to get the skills you pay for. I also think if you pay the skillpoints to stacking d your d should stack. The dev's that think stack d templates are overpowered in pvp dont know much about pvp. Ive killed master fencer/pistol templates before just to give an example. You just have to know how to counter and deal with them. What is the point of having an all brawler template if nothing stacks across. I happen to like brawler and enjoy mastering the profs and now my template is gonna be shot and im gonna basically have to start over. Let em have their warcry i wanna keep my stacked d.

MY SIG-I fight for the unconventional. My right and it's unconditional. I can only be as real as I can. The disadvantage is I never knew the plan. This isn't just away to be a martyr. I can't walk alone any longer. I fight for the ones that can't fight. And if I lose, at least I tried.

I won't be the inconsequential. I won't be the wasted potential. I can make it as severe as I can. Until you realize, you'll never take a stand. It isn't just a one sided version. We've dealt with a manic subversion. I won't let the truth be perverted. And I won't leave another victim deserted.

I've made arguments like that, simply to point out the value of stacking (not to claim that anyone should get nerfed).

I think that we're going to see stacking toned down so as to prevent some of the more "uber" templates however I don't think stacking will go away altogether. Personally I'm hoping that professions will get more unique abilities so that stacking of these abilities, and not just skill modifiers, will be more obvious.

Hmm I don't use the brawlers abilities like Warcry and Intimidation, because I don't have any skill point left. BUT: you already have a lunge attack that can hit an opponent when he's 20 mts far (and change his posture), and I think this can be considered as a free ranged attack. If a pistoleer or a rifleman wants to spend 15 (!)skill points to gain the ability to scream at someone, what is the problem?

And, if you really want to know my opinion, is ridicuolous that a1day oldNovice Brawler, with a stick in his hand (or even unarmed...) can intimidate or delay for 10 seconds a Master Bounty Hunter...

this is one of the dumbest nerfheardings Ive seen to date. Warcry and Intimidate are not based on Any weapon, so no need to have a weapon equiped to use them, plain and simple, if you have the base skill, you can use it no matter the weapon in hand.

And to say that because a rifle/pistol whatever can use them with their base weapon in hand, so you should be able to headshot someone with a brawler weapon if you have the skill, is assinine. headshot is a weapon based skill, so you Need a rifle to use it.
