First I wanna say I love this idea and I have many times thought there should be a class like this. Its unfortunate Brawlers do not get an elite profession like Bounty Hunter, that requires a multitude of skills.

the whole idea of scout is ridiculous. Any true assassin will master any type of killing style available. Therefore they should be purely combat oriented. Anyways, nice dream

I completely disagree. An assassin needs stealth, he relys on his environment to attack first, killing his opponent without giving them the chance to stike back. Studying all forms of combat would be someone more like a master-at-arms, one who is able to fight in almost any situation. An assassin is not meant to do that, their efficiency depends on their ability to strike undetected, never giving their opponent a chance to defend themselves.

There are 10 types of people in this world... those who know binary and those who don't.

Scarin - Eclipse Master Ranger / Master Swordsman
Siarra Oman - Noob scout on Wanderhome, home of the great ranger meet up.

Besides ... last thing we need is another profession ... at least until they fix all the current ones.

It's an interesting idea. Assassins are not however masters of combat...they are masters of the unobserved kill. They should not have a prayer of standing toe to toe with any other combat class in one on one combat. Rather their skills should allow the possibility of making an undetected, deadly attack. I agree with the poison or even diseases as weapons; firearms, garrotesand vehicle bombs. The assassin could plant a bomb on the target's swoop which would activate when the player used or stored his/her vehicle. I liked the idea of sneaking bonuses and disguises. My two cents worth. For what it's worth, Bounty Hunters are not masters of combat either...they are masters at finding their prey and arresting them at a time advantageous to themselves...and almost always with other BHs as partners. Lone BHs are looking to get themselves killed. Again, just my opinion.

The concept is nice, but bear in mind that it does not just infringe on the BH realm. The concept of stealth killing is supposed to be built into Rifleman. The sniper concept is why many people take up rifleman only to find that it does not work that way for PvP. We get Concealshot, which works like a snipershot in that the target will not automatically aggro on us unless it detects us for some other reason, and we get a Concealment chance mod. But all of this is useless in PvP as long as we show up on radar. Since we do, you cannot stealth kill anyone. And, in my opinion, they will never allow for kills that a PC does not have a chance to see coming or cannot respond to if they know they are being hit. And they will never allow for 1 or 2 hit kills, especially if players cannot see it coming.

So while the concept is nice, can you imagine the nerf cries that would come from people being killed without having a chance to know that they were being attacked until it was too late? Sorry, but I do not think it will ever fly.
