Thread: Simple idea for brawler kite-stopping move
Aaaah come one guys!
Make this simple test. Find a buddy, give him a soft stick to hit you with. Pickup a gotcha gun (ya know the paint guns). Now step 15 meters fro him... Now, the first to hit the other 5 times win... And yes of course you can run if ya want...
Melee IS melee. It is not meant to be a fair fight in duel in open fields... That's why we invented guns in the first place!!!
Melee is Melee. No argument there. Problem is that the melee professions can't run and fight. I can't count the number of times I have been melee firghting creatures and just before I am giving the final blow the bugger runs away. Or even before I get the first hit off. Then when you get within range to fight again you spend a few seconds getting into position to make a hit and the target moves out of range again.
I once chased a almost dead creature for 100m because I couldn't hit while moving. And the creaure stopped just long enough for me to get into pisition to fight before moving away again.
I have sometimes noticed that I do throw a punch while on the move, but this is not very often.
Add a attack that can only be done while moving. A sort of a stun attack that last the time it takes for a melee fighter to stop moving and get in position to throw another punch
