a while ago i suggested an idea of a brawler melee terminal, or a option on the terminals that are for melee only so we can get missions where we wont get kited by ranged npc's, it would make it easier for the beginner brawler to gain experience, and it would give the higher up melee fighters a chance for a bit more of a challange as we would be fighting with something that is on a bit of a par with us.



for example a master swordsman would select the melee feature of a terminal and take a mission, when they arrive at the mission, the are faced with a challange of a few npc's that would use novice melee skills, so you could end up fighting a novice, or mid level brawler npc...


with that being said is it just me or are some npc's that used to kite (ie, storm troopers) pull out melee weapons, or just stand and shoot, accepting a beating, more often than usual?

the problem with gladitorial areana's is that its not really in sync with the star wars universe, unless say jabba's rancor, and the pit that the hapless victims get eaten in.


the reason i see it not working in star wars though is for the same reasons as we have today, it's said to be "uncivilised" and stuff like that.
