I would use a trap to pull, wire mesh or glow-wire after I got it, berzerk as they get close, if they were yellow or hard evens, and kill 'em in a few hits and move on to next one. I also have sliced VK's. Normal if I don't berzerk, it takes longer to kill 'em and I take a lot more damage too. I do up to 3x more damage with berzerk than I do with my special moves, so I use berzerk only most of the time. I've also found that there seems to be no difference with killing them in a couple hits and killing them with 20 hits as far as xp goes. I'll usually not berzerk to let my friend get some pistol xp when he's with me.

When I go, I want to go like my grandpa, in his sleep, not like the others screaming in the car with him.

First off, yes, I'm a lurker here. In the time it takes you to pull out all your blind/stun/traps etc, you could just berzerk and kill them. Go berzerk, hit them 3-4 times, and it's over. Nothing fancy, but it's fast. I'd bet you take a lot more damage waiting to pull of several specials than you would if you just berzerked at the begining and tore into your opponent. If you're after red con mobs, I guess I could understand the precautions. Even then, you're still wasting time IMHO. I've only got Expert Unarmed, butI can mangage 450+ hits berzerked. Why waste time on 150-200 hits that blind/stun when you can dish out 2x damage.

Solo its Knockdown, normal hit, normal hit, ... for a few seconds then rinse repeat. I find that grouped with at least one other Knockdown capable brawler that one guy can concentrate on knockdown while the other can do other things, i.e. zerk himself to get mass damage, warcry, etc.

whats pretty **edit**ing annoying is that we are not really unarmed

Depends on the mob and my mood. I either lead with my pistol and Healthshot1, then switch to my vibroknucklers and beat on the mob, or I lead with a trap then beat on it. I typically don't use specials, but if I do I'll hit with a blind before proceeding to my normal attack. So far this seems to be working pretty well, and I'm about 55k from Master Unarmed.

I'm a ranger/CH in the middle of changing professions, so I am working on unarmed right now. What I do is throw Adhesive Mesh, then throw Flash Bomb (to blind), Bezerk, equip VK. If it a higher level mob, I may throw a Glow-Wire to increase bleed damage and have my Domestic Tusk Cat attack as well.

However, does anyone know how to equip/un-equip in a macro? Nothing I've tried works.

There is a way to do it, andthe instructions for calling a Hotbar key from a macro are foundin some threads on macro sampling. Use this command:

/ui action toolbarSlot12

This will press Shift F1 for you. The slot number is the number of the hotkey, starting from F1 (Slot 0) and going through Sh-F12 (Slot 23).

To expand on Philomorph's macro, if you can't use the toolbar space use this macro:

/ui action toolbarPane05; /ui action toolbarSlot 00; /ui action toolbarPane00

That will take you to pane 6, use slot 1 (in which you've placed the knucklers or whatever other item), and then take you to pane 1 (where you place the macro, so you end up in the same spot)

I only use berserk on yellow mobs. After first crossing my fingers that it doesn't fail.

Send my droid into a fight, watch as he hits the mob twice for about 25 to 30 dmg and it laughs at my droid. Then assault the monster and throw in random moves in the battle like dizzy, stun, unarmed hit1 (2 costs too much to use) intimidate warcry(no berserk because that stops me from doing other usefull moves).

Dont use too many moves either, they tend to fail a lot and cost just too much to be reused.
