Legion,

I would have to say no, you aren't the only brawler who enjoys the game. I still am killing easier stuff till I get Novice TK. It's just that the brawler class is a starting profession and one that is extreemely vulnerable to ranged pvp attacks. My current advice to anyone using the brawler as a primary profession is to forego chosing sides (imp or rebel) until after you reach (Fencer, Pikeman, TKA, or Swordsman) Knockdown is not going to be addressed for our profession and as such, you are open game.

While getting shot through mountains/structures is supposed to be addressed, it's not happening today, along with attacking while moving. It's true that no MMORPG is perfect at launch and hotfixes have to be assessed for balance. The "nerfing" of the vibro seemed to reduce our need for it, but at the same time (as I have posted) the balancing issues seem to be VERY much out of whack. I'm now aexpert marksman whocan spam multiple 1500 dammage special moves. That worries me... (because I wanted to be a brawler/TKA only!)

I'll just have to wait to see what will be coming from the developers. It's frustrating to know you are disadvantaged, but hopefully, over time, they will correct the issues.

Totally agree, but here I am reading the thread anyways.

Why does everyone feel the need to ask why other people post about <topic x>? Does your post contribute somehow to the discussion? Does it make the topic disappear and stop wasting space? Does it convince someone else not to post? No. Move along. This isn't the thread you're looking for.

Last night I made 13k killing 5 (only 5) mountain squill. Try to do that with your tera kasi crap. Nope, I didnt' think so. We had a TKA who got incapped 3 or 4 times and died once. I on the other hand got incapped ONCE.

And how many times would you have been incapped if you didn't have a TK playing meat shield for you? It depends on the size of your group of course, but ranged aren't l33t by themselves when that squill starts chewing on your face.

However brawlers are still unbalanced in the bad direction, I agree.

The reason why I posted that I was going to stop playing untill they resolve the problems is

in the hope that the devs take notice, and that they know people are leaving.I'm sure they will fix the problems with Brawler/TKA.I'm just hoping by me posting and others, that the devs will fix it quick.

No Legion I'm strictly brawler and love it... Every post I read about how screwed brawler is I automatically assume is written by morons.. The gamedoes need balancing but its not that bad.

Orius,

People post that they are quitting in order to let devs who read these boards know that there is a problem. I work for a top fortune 500 company and am ona committee assisting Human Resources with retention problems. We ask employees to fill out a survey or answer questions when they leave the company. It provides vital feedback. We then can 1) address the problem 2)change the environment that the problem exists 3) follow up on the problem to see if further measures need to be taken. If companies didn't know about why subscribers were quitting, the would not know what to address. I suppose that is why I'm a manager and you, most likely, are not.

Also, (if I may also include)these forums allowthe player to vent their frustration. It's obvious that people posting here are venting their anger and that's a healthy thing. People are ALSO sharing their happiness when something good happens.

Philomorph,

The guy quickly realized (as I did) that you can't brawl against a squill. He pulled out my pistol and began plinking the squill at long range. I got incapped once (by brawling!) and learned my lesson---he on the other hand learned 4 incaps and one death later. lol

We do agree on the brawler needs positive changes, else, the brawling profession is useless.Marksmen can simply kite mobs around using warning shot.

I write:

Why does everyone feel the need to post about post asking about post asking why people are posting about a post? If someone asked about my post in the middle of the forrest when no one was around would my post still be a post. Isn't Post a cereal? If I were to eat Post while stationed at my post near a lamp post while checking out a Rebel Out-Post and someone asked about my Post which Post would they be talking about? Would it be Posted? Would I be wrong for Posting it? Would someone Post a Post asking me why I Posted it? Would I end up in a never ending Post questioning loop? I'm confused, what am I talking about?

Cool, one less complainer.

You and the other two charactersare pretty pathetic. This guy has legitimate concerns with character balancing. You push him out the door---SAD!

I wish I could take you on in a duel. I'd OWN YOU. I can own melee types in3 hits. (sadly)

I'm working on the rifleman profession. I am also a novice TKA. I quit using TKA because it's NERFED BADLY. Last night I made 13k killing 5 (only 5) mountain squill. Try to do that with your tera kasi crap. Nope, I didnt' think so. We had a TKA who got incapped 3 or 4 times and died once. I on the other hand got incapped ONCE.

Don't flame a person who has legit claims about something.
