Thanks, so I will use Master Swordman as my damage dealing piece and get the Master Brawler to augment it. THen the def mods from Pike and Fencer and the meditate and def mods from TKA. I hope this works. Oh, and novice medic if I can afford it. I have a mount so dont really care about exploration anymore.

I really dont plan to PvP with this guy and my experience in fighting most mobs only run when they are about dead. I figure a lunge will drop them. But I will expereiment to see if I really need it. I might just send my pet/mount in to finish off the last few points of damage if it runs.

I got some muon gold and tried to solo another krayt juvenile.

Ouch. Not gonna happen. The HAM changes were really overpowered.

Although with a commando at my back to deal damage it was actually fairly easy. =-)

Hmm, thanks for the update on that Saint Gaberiel. I hope I can do the same with a BH behind me. My normal partner is a BH.

I have only mastered fencer, so I really can't speak about swordsman, but here is the lowdown.

If you master all of the fencer skills and have a VERY low HAM weapon (I had a 5/10/10 Vibroblade) you can get a doctor buff and take a muon gold and just be unstoppable. You can and must use unlimited specials. If you can get a really well-sliced HAM cost weapon, you will not have to worry about how many specials you can use. It is simply amazing. However, you need to be intelligent. You must use COB. You could spam 20 specials in your queue but then you will not be able to refresh COB when it runs out. Only queue enough specials until COB runs out and then active COB again. Also, inspect your target and switch weapons to attack whatever it is vulnerable in.

Right before I dropped the profession (**edit** holocron!) I was doing 1200 health damge on each attack with nearly an almost 1 second interval. Using COB, I would be hit by pickets on dantooine maybe once every six attacks if that. I can't stress enough that COB was soooooo important for this profession. If you have low HAM cost kinetic resistant armor and do all of the above instructions, you can easily solo an entire picket lair (no pets mind you) in underfive minutes. Just kill kill kill, hit lair once, kill kill kill, hit lair hit lair hit lair... , kill kill kill, destroy lair. You'll average a little over 30K one handed experience per lair and will be able to master the profession in abouttwoweeks of playing for four hours a night. You also get to make some seriously good $$$ since these missions pull in nearly 10K each. Not bad IMHO.

There are MUCH better posts on this subject in the fencer line, but I just wanted to reiterate how cool that elite profession was for me.
