Not sure yet, I just made Jedi yesterday and got screwed in the convertion. I almost died twice today hunting stuff on dant with buffs
.... last night I was doing a lot better. I also get crap for XP..... I feel a bit cheated, did all that work and for what? So I can grind another 6 months out then get nerfed again? Anyways enough whining... I'm going to try normla huutrons and such for now. This is gonna take FOREVER. They did not have the new jedi's in mind when they made this system.
Question: Do padawans get put on the terms?

Depending on you current skills.......I started hunting Dantooine at 0011 last weekend and with casual play I am currently 0142. I asked this same question a week ago and got great advice, go to Dantooine and do Quenker missions, do DB and 2551 xp a kill. =)

Well, you could always try hunting Huurton Stalkers in a solo-group of some sort. They give at least 3k EXP, and up to 5k EXP per kill. The only problem is that they dish out wound/bf at a high rate. Other than that, not much of a drawback to hunting them. I'm pretty sure they don't DB, but with a decent suit of Ubese and buffs, you shouldn't be getting incapped by creatures as easy as Huurton Stalkers. Anyways, good luck with TKA.

Sorry for not putting in any text in that post, I kind of hit enter by mistake. Thanks for your help though I have one more question. What tree should I go up first?

Power line first every time.
After that its personal preference - I when meditate and then balance.

I had good luck running Picket missions - no death blow either. After I went up the power line I staretd joining solo groups and running Janta missions. Jantas have light armor but are vulnerable to kinetic if I recall, and your VKs take care of the armor rating. Once I got my meditation line I started getting buffed and going to Endor. I can meditate poision away. I am a master smuggler as well so I can just feign death if it gets too interesting and heal up while I nap. I just hop to the Smuggler outpost and run to the Research outpost and kill everything in between. Except for the Death Watch dudes. Bad mojo there.

Once you get Spinattack2, xx3x i believe, hunt huurton stalkers in a solo group.(Payment of 7k on the terminal). If you're in a group of 15+ people, about 10 to 15 HS will spawn per lair each giving you aprox 4600exp. That makes it about 60k exp per lair. :]

Jantas are easily solo'd, especially once you hit power 4, which is a first, than I would go for Balance..
A.) KD2 - It has lost it's large usefullness, but some NPC dudes still go down with it, making your fights easier.
B.) Melee Mitigation - A nice thing to have

As most people seem to do is go to Dant. The only thing different that i did was team up with a friend and joined a solo group. The missions are much harder and if u are looking for soom serious cash you ar in for a great time. I also was a tka novice 1 week ago and with the help of joining a solo group and having my friend do the missions with me, which he pretty much was there for backup and to take out the things that was ready to put me to a clone station. I had a great time doing these missions and the confidence boost it will give u is amazing. I was a master marksman, novice tka, novie commando at th time I started, within that week my tka is
now 3 4 4 3 with some much money and confidence in my characters abilities that it has made my addiction to th game that more enjoyable. Go for it and u will like the out come. i would like to thank fellow guild member natruda and the oh so hottie nightgazer for going on these missions with me and puting up with those nasty hurton dogs who constantly picked up our scent.
May the power of the Rebel Faction join force and rule the Galaxy

Did not read all the posts so not sure if this was suggested or not. Start off with hurrtons on Dant. They are easy to kill and give you wooly hide that alot of people look for. Do this until you get the meditation ability to heal disease. Once you can heal disease go to Lok and get on those Mynoks only bad thing they got is disease. You can get the rest of the way through TK on those little things and the missions net 9k each. The standard mynock will give about 4k xp each and the same with the nest. There are usually about 6 to 10 mynocks per nest. At any rate have fun with what ever you choose to kill.

I took the weekend off and started grindingTK on Dant. I'm up to 1443 after about 16 hours of grinding Pikets and Janta/Mokk Shamans, not to mention the 2 million credits I made doing it. Pikets do DB, and I died once over the weekend when my Ubese Jacket gave out.
I have my own question. Sometimes when I'm surrounded and using unarmed spin 2 it won't damage anyone except my primary target. Is there a dead spot in the move? I've tried kiting them into new positions, but it doesn't usually work. Is there a trick to hitting all the mobs?
