Thread: Why nobody posts in the brawler forums.
Ok so hardly anybody posts in here compared to the amount of posts in the marksman and scout forums. Why is this?
Because, all we are is a stepping stone to smuggler or commando/BH. Nobody wants to master brawler unless there holo told them to. We have no purpose but to go to our elite profession and not even look at our brawler tree ever again. there are many iseas floating around and many peopel who would like to see our profession play a larger role in SWG, but we are not getting any attention here.

What does BH have to do with brawler?.
Master Brawler is coming into fasion as more and more melee classes find the benefits of the lunges and warcry2.
I'm a Master Brawler and 1/2 through TKA, an it is great. You don't get much of a defensive boost (that was easily remedied by picking up Novice Fencer, +15 to Ranged and Melee Defense) but the skills you gain are very useful.
Any night I PvP someone complains about our slightly ranged KD, be it an opponent or someone in my guild.
I do think it is unfortunate that MB doesn't lead to a specific elite profession, but it is still well worth it.
One more thing (sorry for the rant)...
To those that complain to me about lunge2... for me, that was worth the 48 skill point cost. If the KD is ever to get nerfed, I will simply take those 48 points and put them into Smuggler. Our KD is not unique.

Most Brawlers are tacticians and we tend to figure a lot out on our own. Our moves work very well compared to other professions and most of us are busy with an elite profession. Brawler is not as popular as Marksman, so therefore the amount of posts is smaller.

Wait a minute...
The Marksman forum has about half our posts. We're more popular than I thought 
I will add that any melee'r that forgets about Intimidate and Warcry is selling themselves short. At the Master level these de-buffs are the difference between tanking three gurks and the clone center. Lunge II is an exceptional tool in PvE and PvP. We're a stepping stone, as are all novice professions, but we have many great attacks, de-buffs and mods at both the novice and Master levels. Don't turn your back on novice professions just because your leveling elite. I'm a Ranger, but I still use Scout skills all the time. I'm TKA (2,3,3,3), but I wear my Master Brawler tag proudly and use Master Brawler specials along with TKA's attacks.
So far I've found master brawler to be worth the effort indeed. Besides the intimidate and warcy and melee kd, the +'s to accuracy and speed have been better than I thought, as well as better defenses. Definitely worth it so far.

Master Brawler is awesome!!
I am also master fencer so the two work great for me, I have dizzy and bleeds and high defenses with fencer and WarCry2, Intimedate 2 and Lunge 2, all great tools. Plus I have the def mods and mediation branch from TKA and working on some Sword and then Pike def mods.
Brawler will make life SOOOOOO much easier for any Master Elite melee profession, it is definitely worth it. That guy who says it isnt doesnt know what he is talking about cause he probably never mastered Brawler and doesnt know what he is missing.
But, the reason there isnt lots of posting is cause once Brawler is mastered they move on to an elite. The only other ppl who post on Brawler (other than smuggler/commando looking for unarmed 4) are those who dabble in all the elite melee professions. It seems to be the place to post those types of issues/concerns.
Warcry 2 is so good for fighting your average TKA. Most stand there, immobile, while spamming KD2. LOL.
