Thread: Warcry2 needs a timer

Warcry is already timered at 30 seconds just like KD.
StGabe.
nonetheless why should anyone be able to only fight 10 seconds out of every 30 in pvp? I've never had wc2 used on me and have it resisted, either make it less effective or put out some skill tapes with +10 delay resist or something
I don't diagree with the idea of warcry defense (to help offset the BE +warcry tissues), but I disagree with changing the timer from 30 seconds. Yes, a master brawler can render you ineffective for 20 seconds out of every 30 seconds. A novice brawler can do the same for 10 seconds out of every 30 seconds (which makes me think more ranged professions should pick up novice brawler - 15 skill points is cheap for that).
This is a very powerful ability and the single biggest reason to get master brawler. But for most melee types, it costs 48 skill points (3 more skill trees + master). That's 48 skill points that are not going into medic, a ranged profession, scouting, or dabbling in other melee professions for defense bonuses. That seems like a fair price to me.

I think the max you can stack is 17 or 20+ on Bio suits so that means either a 20 warcry total or 40 at master brawler warcry total. There is no warcry bonus in any of the unarmed trees except at the master brawler box, at novice you have 0 mod on warcry and only a paltry 20 at master brawler. If your goin to get warcry defense then you should also implement def for all delay shots.
I can't beleive that anyone who's used this move, or had it used on them can deny how insanely powerful it is. 20 seconds is a long time, but that can be beaten. However, when the same person you're fighting uses warcry on you again, and again it becomes ludicrous.
My suggestion is that you give the move an effect timer like KD and posture change. I've been thinking about how long, and the best idea I could think of was 5 minutes. I'm 100% sure that some overzealous Brawlers will flame me for this and cite other profs imbalances, but those are irrelevant. Warcry2 is a problem and if you dislike my suggestion some other feedback would be worthwhile.
Seeing as how other classes are far better represented in the GCW than Master Brawlers, I'm thinking that while getting hot by Warcry2 might be irritating to you, it's not over-powered or else everyone and there brother would jump on it. As mentioned it has a timer
I have a shirt, jacket, pants and a bandolier with each having 15+ warcry and intimidate mods and they show as stacking in my Mod attributes box in the skill tree. Are they? Would i be just as effective with the shirt bandolier and some armor?.......wait a minute i know i would be effective because i got to try the shirt and bandolier with armor combo this morning for the first time lol and boy do the targets fall to never get up again hehe
But do the pants and jacket help even more?
Go away you overpowered rifleman! Your class needs a huge nerf. You can do an AOE attack that does 1,000 damage per person with the 75% damage reduction in PvP. You can also death blow from 64 m away. You also get more melee defense than a master swordsman. Very few people have master brawler because even with bioengineered clothing it only sticks 35 % of the time I use it.
