I cant quite get any xp. I am a master marksman, and have unarmed 3, I want to be a smuggler, commando. I need 33k UA xp. I have read all the UA threads and none really tell where to get the monsters they r describing. I need to no what planet gives the best xp for my particular predicament. I have all padded armor except helmet, the helmet i have is Composite. I have about 14-15k, and im currently on Dantoinne. I am not buffed and I dont no if I should try to do missions OF Dantionne unbuffed, or go to coronet and get buffed and come back or go some where else. And If I stay of Dantoine What kind of monsters should I kill that should be easy for unarmed 3 on Dantoine. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!! Just got Unarmed 1-4 2 days ago myself and i am currently 45k into novice TK.

The way i did unarmed 1-4 is simple.

Unarmed 1-3, you can hunt just about any low level creatures. East from the theed startport, just over the bridge, alot of low level things spawn, but you will decent xp because they spawn so much. try there.

Unarmed 4, i grouped up with two friends and hunted pikets on dath. the xp was decent but it took longer. But what i wish i would have done in the first place to cut it down a few hours..

Get a VibroKnuckle (yes i know you arent certified for it, but the speed boost in attacks will help regardless), get it sliced (hopefully for speed) group up with 1 friend who is a decent lvl in his combat profession, get some armor (i prefer composite), get your stats buffed (get that mind buffed by dancers and musicians too, perhaps the most inportant one of all) and drink some of that sweet brandy, and get over to the tusken fort on tat. granted, its hounded by campers all day long, but if its too camped, go to squill, or one of the caves on naboo and fight there.

You should have it in no time at all.

I did Unarmed 1-4 in 12 hours, and i wasnt even power gaming. i was just casually playing. I just knew where to go. thats the key.

I'd get myself a set of sliced Vibros,sliced for speed for best results. Kill everything in site. I got myself buffed in theed, switched to a weapon I was higher up the tree in, took a couple of missions and went and just killed, killed, killed. Unarmed is one of the more frustrating trees in the game. No real easy way to do it.

I just got myself a set of composite armor, brandy (optional but it will make things go faster...buffs also helps if you don't have composite armor),stim-bs, and a VK sliced for speed. I searched for slice hound lairs in Corellia (I always find them NE of Coronet). Watch out for the male because they DB. I just let one or two aggro me then i move away from the lair and proceed to kill them. Don't forget to group witha pet or droid. You get more xp when you're grouped. Keepyour petaway from the fight. That's how I finished UA 4.

Chickenbone is right - group with a pet and park it in town. A speed sliced VL is great too. (I took 8 to my favorite Smuggler and got a 1.5 speed slice - woot!)

I LOVE quenkers! They are on Dantooine and the missions pay 5100-5300. Quenkers spawn 2 at a time, so with a Doc buff and some brandy you should be able to take them. (They don't DB either.)

STAY DETERMINED!!!! Both UA4 and Novice TKA seem slow, but MAGIC happens once you get that box - your damage goes up to about 5 times what it was. It is worth the grind!!! Don't give up!

the UA tree isnt hard to complete. I did it in about 8 hours total.

I did all my UA stuff on Lok running Mynock and/or Gurk missions (Im a doc so I didnt care about getting diseased by the mynocks). A guild mate gave me a speed sliced VK. I just kept berserk on the entire time. I hit with a little less damage each time but I was doing it 4 times as fast. I was getting about 3-4k xp per mynock and gurk.

I wore composite armor (like 79-80% kinetic resist) and just made sure I kept berserk running.

another good place to get unarmed is the POI on talus the khamurra bio lab or whatever. I ran thru ua 1-3 in about 1 hour and i have about 10k left to go in ua 4 good times.

Maybe its just me but, 8hrs to grind 1-4 is way to long, shouldn't take more than a 3 at a medicore and travel pace.

Start on a planet, tatooine is very nice, womprats scyks anything that is super easy to kill get to unarmed 3. Book to Rori, whether Imperial or Rebel, the Rebel outpost, around(1-2k out sometimes) you will find all sorts of creatures that have between 800-2k ham and no kinetic resist, wail on them. I've did the grind 5times so far and will tell you it shouldn't take more than 3hrs and once you get spin attack unarmed 4- novice tka goes so fast it is a joke.

Leveling is all about speed. The easier the kill, the more exp, if it gives between 500-1k exp it is easy to kill and you'll kill them fast.

Yes, very possible. I got a full set of 76% kin resist ubese yesterday. Got a good doc buff, hit the brandy bottle, then went looking for bolle bols on Naboo. I had FIVE beating on me at one time and they barely scratched me. I healed as fast as they could damage me. With UA2, I was able to kill 2 with my fists (~3300XP each) before I realized that their were faster ways to earn XP . The problem wasn't the damage I was taking it was that I didn't do enough damage to them with my bare hands to take them down fast enough to make it worth while.

Grab a Vibroknuckler, and if you're solo do a bunch of Narglatch Cub lairs (they get me 250-350 UA xp), or group up with 2 or 3 other guys and hunt Bolle Bols and they'll get you 1500-1800 xp.
