I'm working on Level IV polearm skill right now. Need 70K xps to get Pikeman. The way I'm playing now, it's looking like I will have to kill 350 creatures averaging 200 xps per kill(easily 35+hours of playing time). Is there anything out there that will get me 300+xps soloing. I group sometimes, but often by the time I get up to the creature with my staff, it's already been severely injured by the group members blasting away with rifles. And it just takes alot of time to get a group together, etc., etc.

If there is something out there that will get me 300-400+xps, how do I find it?

Is there a way to find a specific creature or do you have to just happen to run by it?

I need incentive! Is it worth it in the end to become a Pikeman?

I'm on tatooine and I just solo gorg mounds for quests. I get 1.5k cerds each time plus i get the 2k or so exp each time.

I believe Womprats give you 300+ exp for each one. They are kinda tricky to find sence there is usally only one womprat and a bunch of lesser womprats.

run up to a lair of crap mobs and AE the hell out of it for 8+ kills at 100ish each.. gg

Answer to any xp woes : get CH

At noivce creature handler I kill Kimos on Lok for 4k xp a kill, gg.

i personaly favor crazed durni's on corelia for about 400 xp a pop. also i have notices that a red agro mob (shows red on the radar) give more xp for the con lvl. other things that i can kill as easily as the crazed durnis only gives me 300 or so xp. also being a CH is also god with low lvl pets cause once you get management 1 you can group your pets and get an instant xp bonus, about 20% i think. also if you use low lvl pets you get lots of CH XP and they wont steal any weapon xp.

I've been hunting womprats & cu pa's on Tatooine, Kauri.

I'm a novice pikeman and they con white to me. The womprats sometimes swarm you so you got to be careful. The cu pa's are easy.

And I find out that anytime i run by a blue I just hit my attack button and the thing dies before we can totally go into combat mode. Then I just keep on running, don't even stop.

I leave a wake of dead creatures where ever I go

I got my 70k in about 8 hours, doing destroy missions for gorgs and other crap mobs on Tat. I take two missions, go to the first waypoint, and kill all the existing creatures.

Next, hit the lair 2-4 times, then move out of range. The creatures will start spawning, but only the ones that spawn while you were in range will attack. because the lair is damaged, additional creatures will spawn, but just mill around, and not repair the lair, since you are not close to it or damaging it any more.

Now, kill all the remaining creatures. in some cases, i have killed over 40 additional spawns in this manner. When they stop spawning, finish off the lair.

destory any easy lairs that are close by, following the same method above, then move to the next waypoint. Rinse, repeat, then get 2 more missions.

If your a scout, there is a silver lining - you also get TONS of scout XP from the harvesting, and if you use what you harvest to create traps, you can get a ton of trapping xp also. Every 4 trips i make a camp to heal (i have medic also) and so I am climbing the survival tree also (albeit, slower than the others).

Using this process, I earned 70k polearm xp, 30K scouting, 15k trapping, and made about 30k credits in 10 hours of play. I leveled to Polearm 4, Hunting 3, Survival 2, Trapping 4, Expl0oration 4, and Organic Chemistry 1 in that 10 hour timeframe, starting at base XP for each of those lvls.

Shorzir - Scout/Pikeman/Medic - Tarquinas

Near Mos Espa the Womp Rats (regular ones not the lessers) and Z<something> Boars give about 300+ xp per kill. I like the boar missions better, if you take a womp rat one you end up with several lessers as well. Be warned they are social and if you pull one others will come to help, however as an unarmed I can take up to 3 at a time and live (barely).

If you are on Naboo, check out Hermit Spiders. Very easy to kill and good points, (about 300 or more each) I am half way to master poleman and use a lance. I can take on 3 at a time and usually have about 1/3 to 1/2 of my HAM left over. A plus is that they don't death blow you as well. I just camp a nest and cause havoc on the spawns.

Tabages are nice too. There realy slow and give about 350+ xp per kill.

Get them or crazed dunies for your missions. Milk the liars dry before destroying it. 1 and a half days will get your polerarm IV. Too more days of that will get your Novice Pikeman. Don't use pets or trapps and keep some good stims to ease the downtime.

Rori.. is a great place

They have bunnys there that are 300-400 a pop. Easy to get missions for .. a nest will birth 8-10 or so in a round.

They were white/yellow with Expert Pole.
