Thread: Should start to think about dropping the price of the new loot

I have a Master Weaponsmith character, but i am not able to compete with the veteran crafters on my server, because it seems that enhanced weapons are all that sell, and the new BH loot costs so incredibly much that i cannot afford it, but the veteran crafters are willing to pay the outrageous prices that you BH seem to be offering. you have to work your way up. It's like owning a car dealership, all the vettes can buy 50 brand new cars to put on there lot and sell em at 30k each while you only have 12k to spend. So you have to buy 3 cars at 4k and sell em at 6k then buy 3 cars at 6k and sell em for 8k then buy 6 cars for 4k and sell em for 6100 and so on. You can just start out making huge weapons. Ask around in your guild, most guys will give up there "nice" resources to you and only sell there "uber leet 1337" ones. Then you can sell a few of these and adventually have enough to make a few uber guns.
Leo
Thats economics for you.

BH wa nts to sell his enhanced cells for 6 million credits but wont pay more than 3million for an 'uber' gun.
You do the math

Well even then. My friend used his token respec finally to move out of Wpnsmith into bh cause he has stockpiles of krayted, enhanced n reinforced weapons on his vendor yet they barely sell well anymore. Everyone is using adks for their best wpns now.
ya, there are a lot of ADK's floating around out there. I know one person on my server has like 100 or so of them in storage(he's got over 4 billion credits, nothing else to spend it on lol)

Yup, that is another thing. People want as much money for there loot, but they dont want to pay to much for there weapons. So if i buy a cell for 6 million, and the only price that my weapon will sell is at 3million, i am taking a 3 million dollar loss!! whats the point of that!

The point is don't sell it for 3 million!
It's business economics 101: Supply and Demand. It sure sucks, but that's what it is. As the supply is low, the price goes up, when the supply raises, the price comes down.
If you have people offering you items for 6million credits, talk them down. Barter with them. Offer them something they might as partial payment. Offer to make them free weapons if they provide the enhancements.

That's the beauty of a free market economy.

Key words: veteran and willing to pay. Selling loot at lower prices wouldn't increase the supply, so you'd have to be as lucky as I was to find Shock Absorbant Padding on the bazaar for 100 credits. We sell at that price because that's what people are willing to pay us. If someone offered you 100 credits for something and someone else offered a million, who would you sell to?
