I am MBH/MRM/4xxxCM and have a BLAST with it. It's amazing at PvE content, because not only can you dish out massive damage with high powered and looooooooong range rifle you can heal yourself AND your group in the process with combat medic!
I find that the lack of a root and good debuffs make this an "expert" class Jedi hunter template. By that, I mean there are others out there that are far easier to use effectively in killing Jedi. You're only defense in kiting a Jedi will be your snare, your KD, and your startle shot.
I hunt Jedi about 20% of my time online, and have about an 80-85% success rate. I'm not THE BEST on my server by far, but I am VERY formidable.
In general PvP, this template falls to more of a support role, where you're tankers and Jedi will be bearing the brunt of the attacks while you stand near the back, pelting long range shots into the mix and healing your compatriots.

after this wave of nerf coming you may want to drop the cm4xxx and pick up pistoleer xxx3 and medic xx2x. you wont need the cm healing if you can keep the jedi at a snails pace with snare at 50-60m. The medic xx2x will give you bacta shot which i think will be enough for heals along with your stims.
