Blame the devs. Vis bleeds off faster in-game than out.

Personally, I don't have a problem if your AFK'ing in your house for a few minutes, maybe an hour tops. But, I think what a lot of Bounty Hunters are finding are Jedi that AFK 24/7 in their house. Im sorry, but if your not going to be ATK within an hour, there is no need to have any toon of any proff AFK for that long, specially when they aren't doing anything but adding to the server lag.

So really, I think the bigger issue here isn't JEDI AFK in their house for extended periods of time, I think its ANYONE who AFKs for extended periods of time. I will admit, I did AFK my new crafter toon in my Guild's Mall, which doesn't get a lot of traffic anyways, 24/7 to "grind" out Merchant xp in a sense, as the more your vendors are loaded in the game, the more xp you get.

But a lot of people AFK for no reason, except to save 5 mins of loading time, which is just stupid.

Did you know
SOE has changed this game 3 times
Jedi went from being an Icon to a normal profession
The combat system is being reduced to Enemy Territory online

That'svery interesting.

Could you point out where this is stated?

Since you cannot see how much Visibility you have I doubt anyone can even prove that.

I've never heard such a claim, much less having heard of it being proven out.

Neither have I.

Like most of the things stated on the forums it's a rumor or someones idea of how things should work opposed to how they really do.

False.

Never believe a RUMOR unless a Corospondent or Dev says something. Just because he said or she said doesn't mean it will happen.

i dont understand why people complain about this, just pull another mission. Finding a jedi afk in a house is all part of bh Vs jedi content, some run, fight and hide. Im a very active bh and have no problem with this,

I think someone said this was an exploit, but I think it's debatable.

A bomb droid has a blast radius just like AOE weapons do. Set the bomb droid off on his front porch and if he's sitting within the radius, then he'll get TEFed and bounce out of the house. I have never tried this because I have been fortunate enough to have most of my marks out of their houses anyway, but it might work.

It's NOT an exploit. It's a valid, intended game mechanic.

Bomb droids don't work that way. The walls in the house stop the blast from hitting them. I've tried it, and it didn't work for me. The only thing i've heard of, though I've never attempted it is to drive full speed into the door, with the Jedi targeted and spamming your attack. In that brief lag time when you dismount and are ejected, you can sometimes catch a hit on the Jedi, TEF them and pull em outside.

However this IS an established red name exploit, and is suspend/banable

Rumors are like Bothans. Everyone knows one and they all stink.

Internet rumors are like herpes. They spread person to person and are impossible to cure completely.
