This may not be a big deal to you all, but for me it is a big win.

I took out a Jedi Knight today. The battle lasted less than 10 seconds.

No, this Knight was not AFK or LD or Spinning.

But he was doing something that had him distracted, and I completely took him by surprise.

Wits over "I CLIK & PWN U!" methods, any day.

In addition, I do not have an uber weapon. I was using a basic High-Capacity Scatter Pistol with a power-up. Nothing special.

constructive comments abound, I see.

I remember the feeling I got when I killed my first full-temp jedi. I don't blame him.

And on a side note, your quote in your signature is misspelled.

He must not have had aura / valor going. I recently killed a 226k Jedi. Similiar circumstances. Was late at night and had tracked this mark to a city on Naboo. As I was watching the seeker updates, I noticed they were coming straight to the shuttleport. So I /concealed and lie in wait. Less then 4 shots later they were incapped and soon,DB'ed. Was not a whiner tho, they just said they were completely caught off guard with no defenses running.

Ya, this "Jedi Knight" (it was the tag he had up, was Pre-CU I guess)I killed also was a 226K Jedi. Got a bundle of credits and all I was expecting was a trip to the cloner. =)

He was in a cantina, had a dancer targetted, and apparently was going through his inventory (with no aura or valor up.) That's when I decided to hit him, even though he had stood behind me just outside of the starport while I pretended to not notice him. Didn't get a /duel message from him, but that doesn't mean he wasn't trying it. If he had done it, he either is really bad or just really didn't think I was a threat and when I didn't attack him right away he wrote me off and went about his business.

I saw his toon clapping indicating watching an Entertainer (had him on /examine while I stood outside), and noticed he didn't have defenses up. Walked in, /underhand, /crit, /quick, /crit, /quick, /crit, /deathblow. He was trying to heal the entertainer at first because guess who he had targetted. =P

He was a good sport though. He just laughed and said congrats, apparently BHs had been trying him non-stop for the past two days and I was the first one to take him down.

while it can be argued that the kill you made was not actually a knight, he/she was still a jedi that has been playing along time and presumably know's their template very, very well.

Congrats man.

Come on you're going to call that a bug exploit? It wasn't like it was the passthrough healing glitch. the Jedi simply didn't have a macro replacing his heal button for /forceheal self;

It's just a tough break for the jedi.

If the jedi was not in a group and had someone else targeted and could NOT heal himself it is the bug, and this BH clearly rejoices in using bugs to take down his marks... when you use a bug to your advantage in a game its the defination of an exploit.

Pathetic
