Does anyone have any advice for MBH/Mrifles?CM4xxx template?

I took my first jedi missions yesterday and got my @$$ kicked. I have a good Heavy Lightning Rifle with an SAC of 59, so action wasn't a problem. I used Booster Blue, and had buffs. Also, isthereany way to inhibit, or stop the jedi from healing? Lastly is there a better weapon for jedi hunting?

you're a rifleman so use a trando rifle or an advanced laser first.

make sure you have blob candy / bofa treat / spiced tea / pikatta pie / crispic / vegeparsine / boosterbluein your stomach

and buffofc.

if youre bh rifleman you have a combo that consist in headshot/startle/kd/critical that do LOT of damage in a few seconds,

and use sniper when you can as it's the most powerfulrifle attack

I always find that using the weapon that your opponent is stacked against is a waste of time. You're mark is going to have high guards against energy. I would suggest running the LD-1 quest series or the Fallan Hyper rifle series to get your self a decent kinetic rifle. I have MUCH success with those 2.

There is no way to stopa Jedi from healing, even when they are KD they can heal. What you CAN do is slow them down from healing.... a good KD follow immediately with startle shot will "Freeze" the Jedi's ability to heal for 5 seconds or so until starltle wears off. This is where you can dive for the ground, fire off a sniper shot!

Your template is an "expert"'s template for hunting Jedi, you have no root, and an ineffective snare against Force Run. The template you have is dependant on you staying out of melee range, 30m or more for a Jedi. If you can do that.... you should be good to go.

ALthough it's only your first experience hunting a Jedi. It will take practice on your part to get good. You don't just respec/grind a template and all off a sudden become a god. That takes a long time for that kind of experience.

Just a quick tip before i jump in the shower

As a Master Rifleman you have something called Startle Shot, this is a "mezz" just like Pistoleers Disarming Shot. A smart thing is that most Jedi acually have healing and many defencive macro´s running. Removing your autoattack you can Startle Shot them 2-3seconds before the Aura, healing etc.. runs out. All you do is keep an eye on their dirrent macro timings and just let your special stick for 5-6seconds acually making the macro completly useless since they get untimed if you hit at the right moment!

This often suprises Jedi cause they dont understand what happens, many think its lag bla, bla, so they get stressed if you catch them by suprise so many will simply panic, wasting all their "offensive time" trying to manually heal themselvs making them go on the defencive leaving you room to play with them!

Another neat thing as a rifleman for damage is poping a Pyro giving some some good Accuracy, opening your attack with a /underhandShot; /startleShot macro.. Going prone, and do a solid /sniperShot! This is simply one of the hardest hitting things ingame! With the /underhandShot; /startleShot macro you KD them so they cant get up for 5-6seconds leaving you room to quickly lie down and fire a Sniper Shot! This often leads Jedi to quickly go defencive and i normally say that once people go all defencice its just a matter of time before they try and run or die

What armor do you use, and what are the states and slices on that armor?
