Thread: Never hunted a Jedi

I am CL80 (obviously) with MBH and TKM. How far up the scale could I reasonably shoot to lay down a Jedi? We do get Investigation experience for them correct? Since it is 1:1 and with double on, I thought I might lay a few down to help me with my FS boxes. Those things are big helpers...killing Jedi with the force sounds kinda poetic too

Figured I would add some info:

I use no armor....have mostly +14/+14 Ranged/Melee defense BE clothes on.

I have Blaster Fist (Will have Katarn Knucks tonight), Krayt Scatter, Nym's Slug with 85 SAC and 750 top dam., and a Tusken Rifle 941 high end damage.

I'm a ranged guy.. But I do know it would be very difficult to defeat him with melee... You know, with him being a Jedi and all :-/

Yeah, I would say BH is more of a "multiplier" of sorts when it comes to the ranged professions... When it comes to melee you're not going to get the full advantage of all your invested skill points...

I havent really played a melee profession since the CU (played a TKM/Swords for a little) but from what I gather melee is mostly a tanking profession not an offensive one... I dont think you're going to do too good with a melee BH but I could be wrong man

It's going to be hard as a Melee BH.

In practice, you're pretty much just a TKM with 3k Health. Most things you get in BH will be useless, or vice versa.

BH is like a building block on which you stack other Ranged-complimenting professions. You'll need to time your attacks really carefully to get a substantial advantage to win.

Well...I took TKM because it gets me a lot of generic defense...both ranged and melee.

How about with pure MBH skills? I have Adv. Crit and Underhand and Torso that I can chain together real well.

Just not sure if I can take anything over like an 80k Jedi with this template. I guess I might try a few working my way up and see what I can see...will post here if it works out well.
