Possible Solution to the *situation* with Pistoleer, Carbineer, and Rifleman

The above is a link to my thread in the Rifleman Forum, in an attempt to put a halt and make a compromise for the numerous calls for Nerfing the ranged professions (which is coming from other ranged players).

I wanted to make the BH forum aware that I made a suggestion for Bounty Hunter itself. My suggestions are aimed at still allowing Bounty Hunter to be very general in weapons & specials usage. No tweaks made to anything in the Investigation aspect, just combat.

Your feedback would be appreciated in rounding out my ideas over there. A Commando had already pointed something I left out for that profession.

Why should ranged be nerfed? Ranged with the core of starwars battle for everyone other than Jedi in the movie. Most of the melee'ers are just angry they can't spam Unarmed Hit 3 anymore. PvP in my opinion has become way more starwarsy with ranged professions once more dominating.

Trust me, I know what your saying and I want Ranged fighting to be superior in SWG.

But there are numerous Nerf calls that started in the Pistoleer Forum... started by the Correspondent, of all things... and aimed at Nerfing Rifleman.

Carbineer hasn't had anything aimed at it... YET. But when s**t hits the fan, it tends to splatter in multiple directions.

Since Bounty Hunters & Commandos dabble or master into Pistoleer, Rifleman, and Carbineer, the 2 Ranged Hybrid Professions really need to know about these Nerf calls. Some of these Nerf calls are quite drastic. My suggestions should prevented this, hopefully, and still put clearer lines in the professions.

I can see what you're saying, as long as they don't do anything to Carbineer, i'm cool.

ya it never did make sense how weak the ranged profs where, and now that they can do some damage people want to nerf them
