Ok this is about Jedi blocking. I'll make it short so hold off on the reply button until you read first:
A Jedi has to move his saber in line with the energy bolt directed at him right? Which means he can be anticipated.
Think about it like this... if your aim was true enough to shoot high and left at his body, then low and left, then high and right (for example) the Jedi's otherside would always be vunerable. You could almost lead him to where you wanted to block while opening up a better chance to hit him.

1.Thought on a game basis (this game):
you cant choose where you hit your target!
Would not help anyways because of 2, proof is jedi academy for example
Thought on a movie basis:
"A Jedi's reflexes are so fast that it looks like they are looking into the future." Qui-Gon Jin
Only multiple shots (scatter pistol), or something that cant be reflected by a lightsaber(Geopistol, flamethrower)
could and should get through everytime.

Ok let me elaborate... I know you can't choose where to hit him... I play the game too you doink!
The point is a special that is like 4 shots... the first three lead him then the last smacks him. Comprendé?

BTW, no need for calling names. Maybe i just missread your original statement, maybe it was unclear at all
(am i the only one responding? wonder why?)
Sorry if your true intention didn't get through to me the first time.

The force is guiding his movements. Your talking about applying physics (sp? god i cant spell that right now) to metaphysical abilities. Thast like trying to justify why magic works with science. You cant do it.

A jedi's grasp of the force isn't perfect, otherwise Qui-Gon and Darth Maul would still be fightingto a standstill up until episode IV.

Yeah, why dont we BHs figure out how to shoot to keep jedi from blocking when the people in the movies couldnt even do it! yeah, that sounds possible...

That is why they only block 85%.

This has been sited many times but I guess it bears repeating. That guy that Jango Fett killed on the balcony on Geonosis with four shots of his pistol was Coleman Trebor, a Jedi Master. That seems like force being overcome by physics, skill andgutsto me.

First of all, Im a desperado, so dont think BHs areny my fav, but u have to realize that Coleman Trebor was focused on arresting the leader of the Seperatist movement, who was formaly a master jedi and part of the strike team that destroyed the Mandalorians, when he was attacked by Jango. But that doesnt mean Jango wasnt skilled. The way he held Obi-Wan off/beat him down, whichever you prefer was a shameful example for jedi. No non jedi should be able to punk a jedi like that...unless u've got the skills to pay the bills ; )

Well said, Everitt.
My point was to show that it does happen in the movies with sufficiently skilled people involved, that's all. Not every "joe blaster" should be able to kill a Jedi.
